Erin Did he ever do any rob ford impersonations ? I think he could pull that off fantastic. His impersonating beaver clever was stellar. Always liked his Johnnie LaRue , character.
I get the idea, and just watching John Candy is cool - but when John asks Paul’s character how much the bag of pretzels cost him - to make sense out of turning down an $80 or $90 job of re-salting each pretzel by hand to Paul’s reluctant acceptance, I totally lost it…
Me too, but I do Sushi too, it’s a very dense Japanese culture in my area. However, I won’t fix Ice Cream. It’s just to time consuming getting it thawed enough to be mailable then re-freezing it only to have the customer let it melt on the way home 🤬
For the cake repair, I would've cut that slice out, pre-cut about 12 slices and shifted them evenly. Supposedly pizza delivery makers do this to eat a slice and deliver what looks like a full pie.
I love how he covers all the repair guy tropes.
Only John Candy can make something so ridiculous so great and hilarious
He was the best. I saw a great Biography of him on the history channel the other day. I'm sure you can find it somewhere on UA-cam.
John Candy is a great actor.
He was one of the best. A legend.

So creative and perfectly executed.

The way she delivers that line, like from a old movie:
"..all over the HIGHway"

Love John Candy, Miss Him So Much.
I hear there's a documentary coming out about him soon.
I don't know why everybody thinks this is so special - I've been running a food repair business for many years locally and it's been very successful!

I specialize in wholesale of used food, usually just 1 previous owner, only passed down when they made room for another meal.
This is so much better than the other version on YT
The other was uploaded 4 years earlier, so that would explain why the quality is worse.
I miss him!
There is John Candy,
Then there is anyone else
Roys such a peach of work
Great concept 😆
This is literally my job. I am roy😂😂😂
you and me both!
That one idea is better than the last thirty years of SNL
SNL...Gameshow, Restraunt, Rap Video, repeat. Boooooo....
I am not yelling at you, I'm yelling at Ray Gaddis!
Stouffer's frozen dinners. HA HA
Hello, you have the performance of "Hearts and Bones" by Paul Simon in the same show? Thank you!
Is that Janice from friends who brought the taco shells in?
And Carrie Fisher with the cake! That might have been while she was married to Paul Simon so it was a 2for1.
I can watch this over and over classic TV. Compared to the garbage on TV call comedy
Greatest football announcer ever..miss you John.
You're thinking of John Madden. This is John Candy.
Wtf?
Janice from "Friends" in a normal voice. 5:20 Oh, My, God! Ha ha ha.
Omg that is!!!
I remember this! Hilarious!
Turkey/ham actor's name is spelled "Valri Bromfield" and she was and is a genius.
I love it
John Candy was a Canadian and American treasure

😂
Food repair ??? Only John candy could act this out and make it funny..
Yes, these days, even FOOD can be repaired! Well, not ALL food. Perhaps, in the future.
Brings back a lot of memories to when SNL was actually funny.
Not SNL this is from Canadian show "The New Show". See video description.
Same director just more obscure
Its actually SCTV.
Haha fuuunnyy 🤣 Thank goodness for recordings, huh?
$90 to repair a bag of pretzels...one day that could be a bargin. 😂
The sketch is almost 40 years old - and still holds up.
Rest In Paradise, Johnny C
I looked him up on FIND A GRAVE - He's resting next to Fred MacMurray from my three sons. So there ya go...
"Alrighty then." A Canadian comic who said it before Jim Carrey.
Ha! I never noticed that before you said it. Maybe it's a Canadian thing.
5:25 is that Sarah Silverman??? Damn can she wear a pair of jeans 👖 … 👍 Roy’s Food Repair… genius .
I thought it was Janice (Maggie Wheeler) from Friends?
Sarah was probably 10 years old when this was made
@@RustyZipper no....1/13/84
That’s definitely Maggie wheeler. She played some characters on the show.
@@birdracer350lie7 one jew same as the other
Bizarre sketch
What most people accept as the real world is what's truly bizarre.
