    Those who think Albert can't be a solo artist, shut up, it was up to him to work alone and his stuff is actually good you guys are just use to him as the rhythm guitarist for The Strokes
    Love you Albert, this is my fav album by you 👌

      His works is like a more catchy Strokes songs that leans more on garage rock side while Julian's focused more on new wave/avant pop. Both still sounds like The Strokes though but not in a bad way.

    I will never have enough of this performance. But know, things change, feelings have changed. I used to hear this every morning before work, and my dog likes to hear it!, I used to sing for her i miss you already an she just looked me at the eyes. now i miss you Mina, you will be always in my heart. fist time i hear this performance again after you died and it's kind of hard to sing with out you looking me at the eyes :( ... but we need to keep moving on.

    love his songs! I think He and julian have different styles in their works, but they together build "the strokes" machine. We should respect them individually as well. GOOD WORK ALBERT!!

      Julian wrote Is This It Room on Fire and FIOE, he is for sure the core of the strokes. Albert was also the last one to join the band, i love albert but he is not the core of the strokes.

    ...fuera de todo contexto es Albert quien tiene la carrera más sólida y estable, no exitosa mediáticamente hablando; de los 5 miembros de los The Strokes...ese primer álbum raya por demás en la nostalgia y mucho en elementos de la balada latinoamericana de la década de los 70s por obvias razones, las cuales las sabe combinar con ese garage que en su momento tuvo la banda en el primer álbum...ya después fue evolucionando su sonido hasta que le perdí el ritmo del juego, no familiarizado para mi oído, pero si conceptualizando el proyecto de la manera más independiente...ojo, no digo que el trabajo de los distintos miembros sea malo pero si suele ser inconstante y por momento, me perdonan muchos; pero fuera de todo mame y de idolatría que realizó Julián...se siente un proyecto por demás propio el de Albert, para mi este disco rayo en la perfección en el último bastión de los the Strokes con los que pase mi pubertad y juventud con la cual pasaba los ratos con iPod nano luciendo ropa usada y desgastada, no fui de la generación del grunge, del brit pop y ni del numetal...me llego tarde pero puedo decir que soy un Indie y Revival...

      +Maghes trust me everyone here would... there are so many ways to arrange this diagram of mine... so what? you know what i'll humor you... how would you arrange it?

    • @maghes
      @maghes 8 років тому +1

      HB Colchado Well, first I wouldn't include The Velvet Underground because although they clearly inspired The Strokes both bands have no members in common. In my opinion it would be:
      The Strokes>The Voidz>Albert Solo> Julian solo Solo>Nickel Eye>Little Joy
