      Indeed my WA is bind to R2 on my controller. It's highly recomended to do that since it gives you 1 free slot on your weapon pal.

      @@wandeezpso2114 thanks for the reply. Will definitely take some getting used to. My main issue on depth100 especially is getting all the counters and pulling off the stay scatter --> front counter combo.

      @@ssenefeld27 yeah the Scatter stay + Front step is already something I like to use a lot but here it becomes vital to chain counters properly ^^

    Just a bit curious. Does having klauz units really boost damages by a lot? I currently have rivalate sets with 280 to 300 r.atk each. I really want klauz units but its so hard to farm with people not doing divide anymore and buying modules would cost a lot.
    As for weapons i got klauz with 120 atk and phrase decay but i can only clear depth 12 in 5.42.

      Klauz units won’t bring you that much damage compared to rivelate with good affixes since 3 klauz only gives 35 more attack than rivelate.
      Atlas units give more attack than klauz (except for the back), but klauz also gives good amount of hp/pp/def. On Luster I’m using Atlas legs for instance.
      If you already have rivelate units with good affixes and S ability getting klauz isn’t really needed unless you aim for speedrun. But if you got the motivation and messetas to make god affix then klauz is probably what you want.
      Now you can loot klauz units easily on the last urgent quest with Sodam 4 players. I almost get one on every run I do.

    Nice run. There's a lot to dissect here for new lusters willing to learn (like me). I'm curious, do you stay scatter reactively before fwrd stepping? Because sometimes you do it before the first slash and sometimes you don't. I just can't seem to react fast enough to the first slash to sneak in a stay scatter before forward stepping. I'm not hurting for dps or anything, not right now at least, but I figured I'd build good habits while I'm still new to the class rather than later. Luster gameplay seemed like gibberish for the longest time to me but i'm starting to understand the reason behind every move. I'm literally watching it in 0.5x speed lmao.

      Hey,
      you're right, I often use Scatter Stay before a front step counter for a few reasons.
      The first reason concerns positioning.
      A front step makes you go forward by design, so you will advance and lose height doing a counter even just a little. And if you're too close you can end up with crossing the target or getting strange camera angles I dislike.
      But that's not all, sometimes engaging a front step from farther is also a way to adjust height. Indeed you can engage the step a little sooner than if you're sticking to the enemy, and lose height to hit where you want.
      6:38 - Here, without Scatter Stay to counter from farther it would have missed the weakpoint.
      Finely Scatter Stay just before a counter increase you dps by following what I call a "Counter Cancel".
      Luster has access to 3 "short PA" being : Scatter Stay, Flechette Stay and Hollow Point.
      These PAs have a real short animation but above all they're designed in a single hit. Therefore, even if you cancel these PAs with a step, as long as the "single hit" has fired you will get full PA damage for a partial animation. So equal damage for less time = better DPS.
      That's why doing short PAs just before or between counters is a good idea.
      Hollow point if the tragets is too far (here when masca is dashing at 35s ua-cam.com/video/IAL7OcFQL60/v-deo.html).
      Scatter if you want to move back, but also to damage since a single Scatter does more damage than 1 flechette.
      Flechette is similar to Scatter, but it's better if you're getting 2 of them before a counter. So spamming Flechette Stay when you know an attack is coming is a posibility.
      I like Scatter a lot so you will se me doing it often before an attack, but sometimes it's also a Flechette.
      In the end, Luster damage output can be increased by a significant ammount if you take every opportunity you have to deal constant damage.

    Do you activate Lighring on cooldown or just when it's convenient to do so? I find it really annoying to do 3 normal attacks with Luster, and sometimes I can't even see the petals underneath my character with fomel clusters being constantly activated.
    EDIT: Never mind, I just realized the petals show up when I do an enhanced normal for Jellen, I guess I can use that as a tell to check if it's ready or not. Sorry, I started this game like a month ago and I literally just got my Klauz weapon.

      Indeed klauz potential can’t be tricky to notice at first, but once you get used to you will anticipate the CD.
      Enhanced normal is a good way to see if it’s available since it’s in your rotation. But if jellen is already applied just go for normal attacks, it’s faster ^^.

      I’m using a PS4 custom controller with 4 buttons added on the back. The brand who modified it is called evil controllers.
