🎨 Watercolor with Rebelle 7 Pro!🎨
I would like to share my watercolor process using Rebelle 7 Pro. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this technique will add a touch of magic to your creations. Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Setting Up the Canvas I begin with a hot pressed canvas paper, perfect for smooth and detailed work. On a separate layer, I sketch out my design. This forms the foundation of my artwork.
Step 2: Adding Watercolors On the first canvas layer, I start with watercolors. Here’s how I begin, I paint sections using a brush with just water first. This helps create soft edges and beautiful gradients. Then, I use a watercolor brush to add color. All of this happens on the canvas layer under the sketch layer.
Step 3: Drying and Tilting Drying the canvas often is key! It helps control the flow of colors. Eventually, I tilt the canvas to let the paint run down, creating natural and organic patterns. Once satisfied, I dry the canvas again.
Step 4: Detailing with Colored Pencils Now comes the fun part! On the third layer, I use colored pencils to add details. I start with the hand, mouth, teeth, and then the eyes. The blending is seamless and adds depth to the artwork.
Step 5: Finishing Touches To wrap it up, I use a black dip pen to re-line certain areas, adding definition and contrast. This final touch makes the artwork pop!
