For me the issue is that the kills don't feel rewarding. A lot times its like pure luck whether a kill is a headshot or not, rather than skill that got me the kill. Sometimes my aim can be dead on and not hit the head and other times I can randomly spam to get a headshot.
Ok so i went into the practice range to test this and most guns are extremely accurate even from a very long distance. Have you considered that you dont know how to play the game?

I had no idea that the game had even released. That's the big issue with this new trend among developers. They release the early access of the game to content creators and you can't play the game unless you're somebody important, and by the time the game actually DOES release to the general public, nobody cares anymore. All of the content has already been made, there's nothing new to talk about, and since streamers are likely no longer playing because they've lost interest, the fans don't play either. It's just a poor business model, and it'll happen with Deadlock as well.
The problem with Spectre Divide is that it was trying to compete with Valorant and Cs. CS is a legacy shooter that people still play to this day; Valorant became popular because it was released at the time that Cs was at its lowest point. Spectre Divided released at the worst timing, both Valorant and Cs are still are still fairly populated despite not being hyped up anymore. Having Shroud's name attached was not a good idea; he plays highly competitive games, which is not the majority of people. Having a game whose sole purpose is to be highly competitive is no longer financially a good idea.

It would be wise to put the game back into development. There are enough points of criticism that the developers can address and improve. They should have had a longer and broader beta in the first place to avoid all the teething problems the game is suffering from now. Spectre Divide is an ADS Shooter that allows you to move and shoot, Valorant is a precise hip fire shooter. Laying off a couple of devs after a games beta launch doesn't mean it's shutting down, and not every game needs to be an insane mainstream success. What is this Valorant bias? I myself have a couple thousand hours in Valorant, but atm I prefer Spectre way more than Valorant. And I love this artstyle. Both the characters and the weapon skins are way more appealing to me on Spectre rather than Valo. Tbh theres very little skins that I actually like on Valo, and the ones that I like the most are some of the ones without finishers etc. And when it comes to gunplay, Spectre feels so direct and accurate. I think I can go as far as saying it might even be the best and most enjoyavle gunplay I’ve tried, and I have over 10000 hours across a wide variety of fps games. I only recently started with Soectre, but I’m totally hooked. Maybe I missed out on some issues from earlier that made people get a bad first impression, but from my experience I feel like a lot of the negative talk and comparisons in this video is undeserved. I dont see the copy paste on the maps at all. Like not even close. And if you think the duality is just a gimmick, then you cant have been playing it much. The duality opens up for so many new strategies, and if it werent for that, I probably wouldnt even care to try the game at all. For me that alone is a game changer. Most of the things you say are negative things, are legit just personal preference.

I thought shroud was just hired to playtest and advertise the game, i don't think he has anything to do with the game beyond that, not sure how what he's streaming and for how long is relevant to the future of spectre divide. And don't all studios downsize after they release what they've been working on, unless they have another project lined up but this studio was founded in 2020 by "fps veterans", so they will probably evolve over time to a size that can improve the game but still be profitable, like they said in their statement. The steam review score also went from 53 to 61 over time, with new updates coming out.

Making the comparison to valorant skins now though or even CS skins isn't fair. As they both have had mid skin releases still to this day and were far far behind anything cool looking on their launch year. And I don't even play spectre divide or valorant anymore. I will spectres art style is very very good for spotting enemies. Which should be appreciated. Solid and unique created weapons in the game too. I think more people that play CS or Valorant should try out Spectre. I think what might hurt it though is both those communities have one advantage. CS and Valorant will run on damn smart fridge. Spectre is more demanding of specs. (Even though I believe most PC gamers could play any of those 3 games just fine.)
Well after almost 300h in the game i can say the game is fun, but full of cheaters and their discord server moderators are a joke, every time someone new joins in their chat, 5 guys jump o him harassing and insulting, the mods do nothing and ban or timeout the new guy instead. Their "mountainers" staff also have some serious mental issues, they are "busy" always but they are busy with their families, going to clubs, eating fish and chips, not busy with the game. They also have 35-40K members appearing online on their discord, but only 800 people online in the game and 5 people actively chatting in their discord server about cats, dogs, cheaters and drugs, so i guess their server is full of bots (they say they are real people, and they are just waiting for the season 1, but i don't see 40K people standing just there doing nothing all day just waiting, such thing doesn't exists) After they saw my review on steam they banned me from their discord server

i got banned for cheating in this game which i don't really cheat ! i had some net issues and gave my account to one of our friends we met on a pub , and we got to know he used cheats later , after the ban the mods were super toxic on discord and they didn't even try to fix my issue , i know cheating isn't allowed , but for someone who spends most of the time playing their dead game i expected a 2nd chance , not only that , the mod disrespectfully banned from the server and removed all my text , and everyone in the discord were like wtf why did you ban him he didn't say anything against the rules ! I haven't had so much fun with a game for a very long time and this game made me wanna play it more and more , i wish their support was better and they choose better discord mods rather than some kid with power who has no knowledge about how to fix player's problems , with 2500 players 24 hour peak, i think them giving me a 2nd chance was more wise than being disrespectful and arrogant ! btw my steam account is 8 years old and i have 0 game bans ! hopefully some other company remakes this game and makes it better !

If only you knew how much it cost to keep your servers running now a days. Server capacity is just very fucking expensive. This means battle passes are necessary for games to substain. Without it the servers would shut of in basicly no time. So not really a joke, just a necessity.
Shroud was just a paid actor for an indie game. When I coundn't feel the excitement in his voice when he introduced the game, rather it felt like "I was paid" and I have to do it.
No one should take advice from this guy, go play the game yourself; right now it feels so much better than it did at launch and it's only going to get better. What is this Valorant bias? I myself have a couple thousand hours in Valorant, but atm I prefer Spectre way more than Valorant. And I love this artstyle. Both the characters and the weapon skins are way more appealing to me on Spectre rather than Valo. Tbh theres very little skins that I actually like on Valo, and the ones that I like the most are some of the ones without finishers etc. And when it comes to gunplay, Spectre feels so direct and accurate. I think I can go as far as saying it might even be the best and most enjoyavle gunplay I’ve tried, and I have over 10000 hours across a wide variety of fps games. I only recently started with Soectre, but I’m totally hooked. Maybe I missed out on some issues from earlier that made people get a bad first impression, but from my experience I feel like a lot of the negative talk and comparisons in this video is undeserved. I dont see the copy paste on the maps at all. Like not even close. And if you think the duality is just a gimmick, then you cant have been playing it much. The duality opens up for so many new strategies, and if it werent for that, I probably wouldnt even care to try the game at all. For me that alone is a game changer. Most of the things you say are negative things, are legit just personal preference.

Sorry what? no innovation and copy past? this game has a very unique mechanic and a crew system never seen before, and it's weird to say that the game copying a concept is an issue since we have the biggest shooter in the market is a copy of two games combined (CS and Overwatch)

I thought shroud was just hired to playtest and advertise the game, i don't think he has anything to do with the game beyond that, not sure how what he's streaming and for how long is relevant to the future of spectre divide.
And don't all studios downsize after they release what they've been working on, unless they have another project lined up but this studio was founded in 2020 by "fps veterans", so they will probably evolve over time to a size that can improve the game but still be profitable, like they said in their statement.
The steam review score also went from 53 to 61 over time, with new updates coming out.
I think shroud thought that when deadlock comes, cs2 will die and spectre will replace it but it was just way too copied, nothing new on that. 2 player handling, well that been made 10 years ago xD but yeah, shroud should have just said "new game is up and it seem pretty good" and then stfu xD he made it hype and game went down bc everyone expected better, my dude is good player, good aimer, but not that smart tho 😂

I will spectres art style is very very good for spotting enemies. Which should be appreciated. Solid and unique created weapons in the game too. I think more people that play CS or Valorant should try out Spectre.
I think what might hurt it though is both those communities have one advantage. CS and Valorant will run on damn smart fridge. Spectre is more demanding of specs. (Even though I believe most PC gamers could play any of those 3 games just fine.)

Well after almost 300h in the game i can say the game is fun, but full of cheaters and their discord server moderators are a joke, every time someone new joins in their chat, 5 guys jump o him harassing and insulting, the mods do nothing and ban or timeout the new guy instead. Their "mountainers" staff also have some serious mental issues, they are "busy" always but they are busy with their families, going to clubs, eating fish and chips, not busy with the game. They also have 35-40K members appearing online on their discord, but only 800 people online in the game and 5 people actively chatting in their discord server about cats, dogs, cheaters and drugs, so i guess their server is full of bots (they say they are real people, and they are just waiting for the season 1, but i don't see 40K people standing just there doing nothing all day just waiting, such thing doesn't exists)

i got banned for cheating in this game which i don't really cheat ! i had some net issues and gave my account to one of our friends we met on a pub , and we got to know he used cheats later , after the ban the mods were super toxic on discord and they didn't even try to fix my issue , i know cheating isn't allowed , but for someone who spends most of the time playing their dead game i expected a 2nd chance , not only that , the mod disrespectfully banned from the server and removed all my text , and everyone in the discord were like wtf why did you ban him he didn't say anything against the rules ! I haven't had so much fun with a game for a very long time and this game made me wanna play it more and more , i wish their support was better and they choose better discord mods rather than some kid with power who has no knowledge about how to fix player's problems , with 2500 players 24 hour peak, i think them giving me a 2nd chance was more wise than being disrespectful and arrogant ! btw my steam account is 8 years old and i have 0 game bans ! hopefully some other company remakes this game and makes it better !

The core gameplay is not bad because i like pure aim/skill, plant and diffuse game but recently I can't get in any match queuing for over 3 mins.(In asia server btw)

If only you knew how much it cost to keep your servers running now a days. Server capacity is just very fucking expensive. This means battle passes are necessary for games to substain. Without it the servers would shut of in basicly no time. So not really a joke, just a necessity.
Shroud was just a paid actor for an indie game. When I coundn't feel the excitement in his voice when he introduced the game, rather it felt like "I was paid" and I have to do it.

No one should take advice from this guy, go play the game yourself; right now it feels so much better than it did at launch and it's only going to get better. It definitely has inspiration from Valorant, but most games take inspiration from other games which isn't anything new. The gunplay feels completely different and also how the game plays is completely different. It's definitely a harder and more competitive game to learn than Valorant so it might not be that appealing to people who aren't open minded but it's definitely worth a try; like I said don't take advice from this guy. Play it for yourself first, form your own opinion and don't let someone else form one for you with misinformation.
