leki any day .. black diamond brought the flick lock sticks out ..theres been numerous incidents with the bottom section completely coming out on down hill sections obviously your relying on your poles and theres a section just gone ! stuck in the dirt 6 foot behind you .. black diamond are aware of this issue but continue to produce them 👎👎👎👎 . we dont use any black diamond gear now . theyre priorities are not on safety .its 100% on.proffit

You mean the lock mechanism fails? if so there is a tightening screw that comes with it if that is what you mean

Will make an update video discussing if that happened or not with my experience. As discussed in the video, the twisty locks of the cheap poles let me down so far.
I hope the Black Diamond doesn't fail me as I really like the design.

@@luvidumont its the quick lock /smash lock , only used on the lower limb ... only works when fully extended ..so to even call them fully adjustable is ridiculous ...only the top flick lock section is adjustable , i went with leki after mine let me down , both legs several times first few hours ... not good

@@joekelly9369 Mine hasn't failed yet, but if it fails I will try out the Leki a bit longer. You mean your bottom lock caved in? Oh and sorry if I mentioned the bottom part i adjustable, only the top lock is adjustable length wise of course but also how tight it is.Do you have the Leki Micro Vario, if I ever go with Leki, I think I'd go with that one for my hiking style/needs.

@@luvidumont no it didnt cave in ; you can not do anything with the alluminium barrel theres NOTHING on the barrel to adjust .. when they come out ,which is often .theres an inner groove that a cheap curved piece of8 spring steel with a ball clicks in to .. but once wet can slide right over the groove causing the whole bottom to completely detach ,, iv read lots of other incidents since , some ended up having bad falls ,
