Don't worry, my *actual* mom watches these videos and is quite safe from scammers :)
If you're reading this, love you!
Awwee
You’re the best :’) your videos honestly keep me going through these hard times in life
Love you for doing this, brother.
Such a good son. 💜

"Please log in to your bank. Now please leave the room." That's the hardest I've laughed all week. Not even trying.
Keep in mind they have a 1:10 success rate.
Right, that was so over the top fucking ridiculous I had to replay it a few times just to lol
@@kimberlyyoung3971 The fact that even those people actually fall for that BS is really sad. (Yes I am aware that it's generally people who are senile and/or have dementia so I guess it's not something I'd be able to understand)

@@lilliannalovexx I've seen one (maybe not Kit) where they refreshed the page repeatedly and the scammer just went through the screen block multiple times to edit the webpage. It was hilarious. I had a patient receive a phone call in the middle of her appointment from her mother, who had just gotten off a phone call where she was told her daughter was arrested for a DUI. The scammer put on a voice changer to pretend to be her distressed daughter reacting to being the cause of a three-car pile-up and subsequent arrest. I'm glad the daughter picked up the call, because I was able to assuage her mother's fears, convince her to not send a wire transfer for a bail that didn't exist, and give her some more tips while referring her to your channel. Thanks, man, never doubt you're doing good work.
My mom got a very similar call (they even guessed my name, curse of having an ordinary one I guess) - but she doesn't speak English almost at all, so all they managed was to give her a panic attack ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And then I had to reassure her 7 times that I am not, indeed, being arrested lol.

Your Mom must be incredibly proud of what you do to help protect innocent hard working people from lowlife scammers. It should be standard practice for families to help protect the vulnerable from scammers. I’ve seen several of my late father’s elderly friends be scammed for all their life savings simply because family set them up with a computer/laptop and don’t monitor what they do with it. We had special measures set up with my Dad’s bank so we were alerted to what he was doing and could immediately oversee and block anything we thought fraudulent. It was great piece of mind.
