I kinda felt it was a scam had dude lose. He said it himself, wasn't his fault homie poured all his money into a Porsche with no power and he said his 180SX was ugly.
@@LykanPrototype if it was a scam, that would be a good feature. Never trust someone who wants you to lose on purpose. So it's 50/50 if the caller will give you money if you lose on purpose.
Lost 6 times for more money and apart from my record being tarnished everything else is alright, i always got paid for my "loses". That being said, the money you win by throwing a race does not go to "debt" money, so it's basically money straight to your pockets.

The game suffers from the same issues I talked about before too. It's more or less a straight-line simulator. The track layout is not varied enough. But I can understand that it's a very typical kind of Street Racing that was done on Highways. But still, it won't have as much replayability. The other issue is the AI seems easy. There isn't a challenge as far as I see. Not that these mean the game is bad. It's just some flaws. It looks great so far. Not the biggest fan of the "POV" countdown tho. Makes it look like the Player goes into Vibrate mode before launching off lmao.

I'm probably still gonna' get the game when it comes out but I'm not super thrilled about the horror elements. It feels like every indie dev these days tries to shoehorn horror into their games for whatever reason.

It's not possible to compete most NA cars vs highly tuned forced induction especially such old tech in an 80s model. Would need a turbo and a massive intercooler and very large oil cooler since the 80s Porsche is aircooled with oil only(No water or coolant).
Its not very arcadey, it feels sim like, but not as sim like as grand turismo or forza tho. Its like a very good balance between the two, but leaning more on the sim side in my opinion. like having a good line while turning and having good entry speed and braking points with a good acceleration point at the apex of the corner will do very well in this game so thus it feels more sim like in my opinion. And the handling feel really good, like the cars have true weight and when the car is going 250+k/m it can feel hard to control and dodge traffic and stuff which gives it such a big boost of adrenaline and such a rush when you thread it all just right weaving in and out of traffic while your opponent is hot on your ass.
Does anybody find the FOV zoom out thing satisfying at all? I get it's supposed to replicate the disorientation feeling you get when driving at high speeds, but Night Runners made it so you can't see anything at all and on top of that fades out the engine sound so you're stuck with nothing but the **arguably** mid soundtrack and an extremely ugly view.
