i defeated him after the end credits just got a star and obtain his character profile dammit i thought in this game the final boss will be permanently defeated by the player and will never fight it again

It's so idiots do try to speed run the game because they put so much work into it for it to not be enjoyed the way games should be

With good enough equipment the fight is quite easy.

You can place a travel medallion on the platform right before you jump down to face "Ganondorf's Army" so you can prepare and come back later.

I got to the area right before the Gannon fight & put a travelers medallion down so I can repair my hearts from gloom damage & regain my lost hearts. I’ll go back when I’m ready 😂. Thanks!

4:55 that detail tho, the torch..is zelda's torch from when she fell down in the begin of the game and warped back in time, that is where the torch has landed eventually 😮

i was too late but eh i beated it
i only had 2 sundelions and i used it for a meal and i ate it during demon kings army so i didnt have any when i fought ganondorf, by then i had 12 hearts remaining and somehow beat ganondorf with a mighty simmered fruit and fusing silver lynel parts to my weapons
I was afraid not to get into ganondorf fight by accident.. seems like a hard mission to get there intentionally.. So nothing to worry about. 😂
I’m here and when it said sages can’t help you my heart dropped. It made me realize how much link depends on them lol I felt so naked

Dude all of your temple tutorials and then this have been so freaking helpful! I would have gotten turned around so many times looking for him down here. Searching for him without your tutorial would have been mega frustrating.

Why is everything so hard to find in TOTK???
I’m late to this conversation but holy hell, everything seemed so much more straight forward in botw. Totk though, everything is a labyrinth of special acts, extreme discoveries, long exaggerated quest which to me just eat up way too much of my time.
0:52 the funny thing is, is that I was already there once before but didn't notice that you could climb up there..
It was the same for me, I was curious and went down there when you have to meet the monster control early on

The problem is that Tears of the Kingdom feels the need to overcomplicate everything. In Breath of the Wild, there was always a lot more to explore, but it was always very clear what you needed to do and where you needed to go. Tears of the Kingdom always makes you do a f*ck ton of steps before you can do the most simple of things.

@@moongaming2778 even after defeating Kohga, he only tells you that Ganondorf is under the castle. It's a *really* long trip from the castle!
I went back to hyrule Castle to get the hylian shield(still haven't beat the game) and as I was paragliding away I decided to just dive down to where that root is holding up the castle to see if I could. From there I kind of just kept going down and following wherever it led me. Beat the gloom silver Lynel That I accidentally ran into and kept on going until eventually found my way to the imprisoning chamber gauntlet. Decided to do some UA-cam research on it since I completely wasn't expecting to run into this end-game stuff yet😅

I was dead scared when I found the silver lynel inside hyrule castle, even tho I fought an armored one. The dam music whenever an enemy sees me makes my heartrate go boom boom!
Thank you very much for the easy to follow path. I am legally blind so it's very hard for me to see where I'm going in these darker areas and you made it possible for me to get to the final fight of the game.
Finding the place was way harder than finishing him off. Super easy battle when you have savage lynel bows and bomb arrows.
I was going to fight ganon right now but hell nah. This video convinced me that I need more hearts.
4:31 I missed that one patch of rubble and it cost me an hour and having to finally look up a walkthrough.

I feel dumb for not searching under Hyrule Castle. It was the one part of the depths I hadn’t explores and it was where Ganondorf was at literally at the beginning of the game.

I knew he was there it makes sense because when he was in the castle and purah suggested he was in the depths I thought to myself “ what’s the fastest way he’ll get there and it’s the chasm right under the castle. Make sense for him to go straight down then anywhere else
@@spiritualak5147 honestly dude. I was hoping it was under arbors grounds. Seeing the gerudo cemetery down there with a main grave in the middle made it fishy. Also fuck the trailer for making us think it was going to be a temple/dungeon.

Man ganon is one hard and cheap sob but also a really satisfying feeling once you beat him. Also yeah I hate the fact that you need a damn video guide just to be able to find him.

@Mysterious one, you have to flurry rush him twice in a row to damage him that way. You can also (spoiler)
Use your master sword to deflect his orb projectiles. It only works with the master sword

T_T I need to learn, how to parry his attacks, upgrade my armor an cook a hell lot of anti malice food. But still.. First i need to get there. A friend of mine just ignored the enemies, which came before you meet Ganondorf. But i just get hit by them, if i tried it.

What are the 4 hollow hearts next to your recall/ascend or whatever
Edit- is it gloom resistance hearts
The armor set he is using give you 4 hearts to take the damage from the gloom before it actually impacts your real health. It also will regenerate on its own after you step out of the gloom.

Yeesh. The gloom hands AND silver lynel on that route left something to be desired, but on the bright side, but it did give me a gloom spear and a mace horn, which fused into a weapon with 91 attack power
If you have the travel medalion, you can place it down and go back to the suface and the come back down
Don’t you just love how the game tells you absolutely nothing and expects you to somehow figure this out?
There is almost no chance I would’ve ever figured out where he is without referencing UA-cam videos, and quite frankly I don’t know how the UA-cam video people found out where he is either
Where else could it possibly be? You start the game at that location. The first cutscenes show you where he's located, and the first mission tells you to investigate the castle.
@@grremmy Yeah they give you hints but honestly I would’ve been wandering around the castle in all the wrong places probably for hours before falling into the chasm by accident or some thing and then figuring it out the really hard way 😂

Finding the correct chasm wasn't a problem but finding him in there is annoying.

Good thing I looked i was exploring down there and looked right down where he is i dont want to fight him until i got every heart and side stuff done

Fair warning to anyone one on the way sure make sure you have gloom repair foods to get your hearts back especially when you suck at flurry rushing like me, also portable pots also your master sword is not indestructible until the final boss in my experience

Late to the party but thanks! I'm just now playing the game and I could *NOT* find where that idiot was and kept backtracking the the chasm looking for him. I thought I was going the wrong way but apparently I didn't go far enough to find that side tunnel.

Ive just spent a whole hour dropping down through the gloom hole near forest of spirits and following some statues thinking they were leading me to ganon coz of purah when all i had to do was drop down under hyrule castle 😒 ive ended up at abandoned gerudo mine with yiga clan there

0:56 I had a hunch that platform thing is something important but I never guessed that I have to climb it. I had entered the gloom multiple times when I finally decided to give up and look for the way here. I was always stuck at this area with no way of knowing where to go next.

BRUH!!! My dumbass didn't bring any Gloom heart food and didn't place the travel medallion. It was rough lmao! However, the Zonai Portable Pot. saved my ass and I was able to cook a couple of meals. Btw, if you don't know how to flurry rush - RIP.

After defeating the army of enemies if you go out of that area to heal yourself and then go back to that same spot do you have to fight the enemies again even tho you just beat them

@@Only1WithAnE You can't teleport after you defeat the army. You have to go directly to Ganondorf after that. If you want to heal you need to reload the save before you jumped down. Place a travel medallion down and then teleport away to heal. Then come back with plenty of food, materials, and weapons. And I don't think you can save after you defeat the army.
Is it just me or is getting to the demon king harder then the boss fight it self.

Be good at dodging and flurry rushing
Parry his strikes with your shield and it will strike him back..that seems to be the best along with the flurry rush..

😂 I arrived here the very first day I played the game just by wondering around after watching a youtube video about how to get powered up weapons and op at the start. When I saw that army I knew I shouldn't be here yet. 😅
I hate how vague this game is about everything. Some parts of this game feel absolutely impossible without a walktrough. Havent had that with any of the previous zelda games. the world is just too big (and mostly empty)

I really wish everyone would *"Lock minimap to north"* in the Options before making videos. It seems like nobody does it and it makes everything so much less confusing... I mean, you can still figure it out if you're IQ is higher than room temperature; it just seems like an unneeded step to go "the little N is down now, which means I should be heading South."

For me I’m not even that bad at parrying I do it all the time against other enemies but for some reason I couldn’t get his attack animations down so I couldn’t parry his attack I ended up spamming with bomb arrows

Waited to use the Master Sword so it wouldn't break before ending. But broke Hylian shield as he was close to defeat. I didn't die. But at one part I didn't hold down the A button lol #GameOfTheYear #TOTK wth can't save when finished grrrr #Zelda #Link 💙💚 Beat it today on 3 month Anniversary (just happened that way)
