Hail gorgoroth. Bands like them, Burzum and Mayhem really helped give black metal a push. Other good black metal bands I cant forget are Immortal, Marduk, Satyricon. Don't know if any of you guys have heard of Carpathian Forest and Nargaroth.
Hey, I totally agree with you, but I don't understand why Satyricon is so trendy in BM... Mother North is a very intense song (one of my favorite) but what else ? for me it's the only thing they did. Otherwise I think you forgot Emperor ;)
