I see we were all worried about #3 after seeing the video from the ledge. SO GLAD THIS VIDEO EXISTS!! Good to see she recovered right after the fall. Though obviously flying like a fledgling, he/she was most definitely flying!! Thanks for posting this!
Good positioning of your cam to capture the nest area. It looks like it was raining during the fledge; something that wasn't noticeable on the live feed. Thanks for posting.
Yesterday was a four seasons in one day for Melbourne. Depending upon when the video was done, we had a wild wind change sweep through the city and suburbs. Out on the bay, which is close to the city, a youth sailing regatta was thrown into chaos with yachts tossed over and participants needing rescuing as they encroached into shipping lanes. The birds would have had plenty of winds to deal with on the Sunday if that was when this was filmed.
That mum knew her job. She knew the kid needed a little push to get into the wider world and took action. I was lucky to have had the direct feed on, as I was watching the third chick negotiating with finding the strength and courage to fly the coop, I was anxious on her behalf, so when mum took action I threw my hands in the air and called out in glee. Thanks for posting this very helpful other view of the action.
Excuse me, but these were boys. They are smaller than their mother, lower, and proportional to their father. Their beaks and toes are the same as those of male peregrine falcons. Please take a closer look when the chicks are next to their mother or next to their father. I think you can find the videos.
Thank you so much for this video, you wouldn't happen to have the video of when the second one fell off the ledge would you? It would be nice to see if it flew off as well. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this video. It's great to see that #3 safely recover from the tumble. Do you have video of #2 slipping from the ledge? Did it recover itself in the same way?
Yes. The baby is the one that flew to the center then to the right of the screen and the mom flew to the left of the screen. You can tell mom is bigger and her flight is more direct and deliberate than the baby. Mom is mostly gliding and the baby is flapping. 🥰 It's first flight.
Great shot...thanks for that!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude and respect for sharing this wonderful moment with us❤
I love seeing them from this angle. So great to know Miss 3 flew off safely.
Well played Mumma.
thank you very much🤗🤗

Thank you so much! I am so grateful to see this!
Wow glad you got that on video. 🥰🥰
Thank you for this. I never realised that they sat on the cameras.
It would explain why they sometimes appear to look directly at the barrel of the camera. They was one of them sitting on top.
Thank you for posting this! Feels better to see the chick fly off 🙂
Thank you for showing it from this angle! ☺Finally, all 3 boys fledged.😍
Girls........not boys.....

They need another camera thats up high but facing down and out. Would be great to see them fly in and out and watch them fledge better
They can't get 2 right. Not sure how they would go with 3.
They could go back to one, or none. There’s no pleasing some people.
Was it raining ? Great shot thankyou...And for the ongoing videos...
Great to see! Did you capture the first two fledges?
Please google those 2 fledglings! 🙏💐
I think he was not home during the first two fledges.
Which one is the baby? The one on the right ?
Yes. The baby is the one that flew to the center then to the right of the screen and the mom flew to the left of the screen. You can tell mom is bigger and her flight is more direct and deliberate than the baby. Mom is mostly gliding and the baby is flapping. 🥰 It's first flight.
隼媽媽特意飛入再飛出,是有心引誘小孩的😅
The takeaway I have from this video is that the baby flew UP not plummeted down.
Thanks for taking the video. Much appreciated.
