Those kids were so good. Just bingewatched the whole show in 2 days. And I was really impressed with each of these kid's exceptional performances.
I watched the whole show within 8 hours, i stayed up till 6;00 am

Casting the two boys as siblings made it increadibly believable since they could pass as brothers in real life. Fabulous series and a fantastic job all the way around.

I loved this show. It really got me thinking and analyzing which is much more than I can say about a lot of shows.
All of these actors were great, and they brought this story to life. So special.

Izzy, Moody and Lexie look exactly like I imagined them when I read the book! But Trip and Pearl looked soooo different in my mind😂
I think i'm the only one who likes Pearl with Trip. I feel like she will be the person who changes him, and makes him be a better person. I feel like if she got with Moody it would be such a cliche. So Pearl being with Trip is a better story line. I just want Pearl and Moody to be friends again.

13unty I feel like her being with moody is cliche. Best friends dating happens all the time. But with Pearl dating her friends older brother is more exciting and dramatic to me. I think her and moody aren’t ready to date each other yet. Maybe in a later season.

Yeah both have been done before, I guess. I don’t have a problem with what’s happening. I’m enjoying the show.
I don't see Pearl and Moody as cliche, its more like seeing the start of a controlling relationship. Pearl has to make herself small because Moody sees her as needy. Trip is a free spirit, Pearl can share her brokeness and not be afraid. Moody and Lexi are Elena.
Honestly I thought pearl being with trip was more cliche then her being with moody. I saw it as the "girl next door" being with the "bad boy/gets all the girls guy" which happens a lot more then a girl being with her best friend to me.
It just seems like girls always go for the popular guy in movies/tv shows whether then a friend that likes them. Just my opinion.
Reese and Kerry provide outstanding performances. Kudos to both.
They’re all great young actors. I look forward to seeing what they’ll do in the next few years 😊

Lexi and Megan have on too much makeup. But all the young ladies are gorgeous. The entire cast is really great! I love that Lexi refers to Kerry Washington as Ms. Kerry.
This is one of the best shows I have ever seen in my entire life it would be a tragedy if they didn’t try to make a season two. I crave more!

Yeah, I thought that too, I think she was speaking to how she and Kerry Washington got into their roles and in them portraying the experience of single black mother and daughter, this is something that she probably recognized from her own childhood, maybe. But I don't believe that first and last name calling belongs to black culture. Maybe if she said Ms. Kerry told her to go out back and get a switch, (a branch from a bush or small tree, for a whipping) and it better not be a little one or she'll get it twice as bad. But maybe I'm doing the samething. LOL
