@@GuitarealLessons Stand by what you want to say and say it! I think it is really important when looking at a lick to fully understand how it works, interesting features about it any any playing problems and techniques it involves. Only by taking this time can you expect to be able to actually use it in your own playing and adjust it to match your playing style and what you want to say. Everyone's too 'busy' these days to slow down and take a bit of time to understand stuff!
@@stefanm2892 I absolute loved what you've just said! I think exactly the same. I just want to talk less because people think "This guy talks too much...fu#k him!" Hahaha. But I agree that I should say all the things I need to say and that's it. After all, the exercise is at the beginning, so if someone don't want to hear my thoughts about it just don't see the rest of the video and that's it. Thanks for your kind words!
Hello guys! For today's video I bring you another phrase widely used in gypsy jazz on major 6 chords, I took this specific phrase from the beginning of Romane's improvisation in "Menilmontant" but it's a very common phrase in the genre. Obviously different musicians gave this phrase a different twist, but you'll see that it's a very popular phrase. As always, at the beginning of the video you have the demonstration and then I talk a little about the phrase. I hope you like it!

Excellent lessons and I'm finding the analysis and your thoughts on the licks very useful. Great stuff! Thanks.
@@stefanm2892 thanks for your comment! I was afraid I was talking too much and maybe it was boring or something. I'm still trying to talk less 😂
