I'm a mom of 1. I always thought of you guys saying "mom of 11" or " mom of 13" or whatever the number as a way to introduce yourself to new viewers. It doesn't bother me, it doesn't effect me at all actually, because it's not my life and I tune in because I enjoy watching. If it bothered me that you have a large family I would choose not to watch. That's the amazing thing about being your own person, you can choose not to watch something, or say something. I'm the type of person who can come upon a video that I have no interest in watching and shut it off, scroll on, or go to another video. I don't stop, make some snide remark, or announce my dislike and then leave. I just move on. Wish more people could as well. Love your content, you're all so fun to watch. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs....they happen whether you have 13 kids, or 1. It's called life. Some need to get one!! Haha!! (That may have been a snide remark, but not toward you guys.) A great part of hiring a mother's helper is that it's a blessing to that child to earn some money. My daughter has done similar things for moms locally, babysitting and tutoring and that money she earned is helping her pay for college.
I worked as a mothers helper all during high school many years ago just during the summer. I lived at their house Monday thru Friday and went home on weekends
I love what a gentle parent you are. Redirecting the child who wanted the taco and not saying she couldn’t have it but she needed to wait for the rest of the family. Your kids remind me of the song this little light of mine - they just shine. Also invest in throat coat tea it will help when you over use your voice. As for the nanny - what a blessing for your family especially what you said about letting your older children pursue their own desires. I’ve seen the repercussions of leaning too much on older children to help with younger children - you’re giving your family room to grow within God’s plan. You’re such an inspiration to all of us. One thing that was important to me when I had our last daughter eight years after our family was done was make sure our oldest never felt like her mother but a sister. Yes they helped when I was in the middle of a clean up or meal but my husband and I wanted to be the parental figure the others were the fun siblings. Good on you for limiting the older children and having a little outside “playmate”
Mom of 6, going on 8 here. I think it's helpful to know that info, I think I started watching you when I had 3-4 kids and was specifically looking for tips and tricks from a large family mom. Not that it's better, just more efficient. We all have the same 24 hours in the day, some have to check off more boxes to keep their homes moving smoothly. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

When you sat down and started talking to us it felt real like you were right in front of me and we are having a nice chat, I loved it and I love watching you I feel like am part of your family. I grew up in a family of 9 but we struggled, my dad had only one source of income I don’t know how he managed to raise us all, God is good.
Take those zucchini out of those pots and put in the ground. The pot is way to small for those, that's why they are probably failing. Looks like they are also heat bolting. Everything else looks great! No easy task keeping up with everything with those little hands everywhere lol. Glad you're getting better. You all are busy people! Beautiful family!
The advent of social media, UA-cam and such has definitely opened us up to a whole new world. It allows us virtually “meet” new people, explore different cultures and see things through someone else’s eyes. It also allows people to feel connected in a way, especially for those who are isolated due to age, disability or just those who are alone. For some of us, as long as we don’t substitute it for real life, it is a good thing. However, it has it’s down sides. For some people it intensifies their negative feelings of self worth. For others who are either childish and bullies or those who are just not happy people, it gives them a place to say and do hurtful things, hiding behind their keyboards. Some content creators can’t handle their negativity. I am so glad that you are not one. Many of us enjoy your videos and I personally have learned son things from you. Thank you for your positive content.

Also! I hired a nanny when I was feeling very isolated living in Germany with a two year old and a new born. She came five days a week for four hour each day. It was a literal life saver! I was able to use the time to shower, sort our house and sell a bunch of stuff and in the end we decided to return to canada and had only 4 suite cases of our belongings! (With one storage container) without having the nanny I would have never been able to have the strength to do all that work and would have been too weighed down by all the stuff in my house to ever move! It was such a blessing. She was with us for 6 months.
Your family is awesome. I spent a summer with an aunt of 16 children. Best summer of my life. She was well organized. She even had a crying room for those who needed to cry. Also, she had a small cottage with children's clothing items. All hung neatly, folded neatly. Her older children had children and when all the children were growing, just go to the cottage, drop off and pick up. Great auntie. Your family reminds of the great summer.

Bring your lettuce in and submerge it in water and leave it for a few hours. It sweetens the lettuce. That is the same thing the big farms do. I have loads of different lettuces that I do with that when I harvest.

I am an adoptive Mom. My husband and I adopted all 6 of our children. At one point we were fostering another so we had 7. At this time it was when the signature would show at the bottom of each text you sent. Mine was 7kidsRheaven2me. A lot of my friends told me that sounded more like chaos and trouble. Lol. Lettuce is considered a cold crop. Once it gets hot, it starts to turn bitter. The plus side to lettuce is that it can tolerate a light frost. I'm exploring more into gardening. So I haven't had lettuce after a frost, but I'm told it's sweeter. I grew up in NE but now live in SD. I'm willing to talk about tips to make gardening easier if you want to

You and your family are so talented. I lost my daughter to ovarian cancer 10 years ago. God has blessed me with a son and daughter in law and three granddaughters. Thank you for sharing clean videos. You remind me of my daughter. She loved kids and had several foster children. She loved God and shared Jesus with everyone she met.
Your friends garden stand is bigger and more robust because she has a bunch of flowers in there which is bringing in the pollination. U coukd get the sane effect by putting the flowers in pots next to the big standard too. I envy u. I so want those stands. They look so fun.

Some folks have no real idea of what it is like to have eyes on so many little ones. What a nice truck Solo!!! I had to laugh.... riding in the trunk!!! In 1966 my Dad bought a brand new Barracuda! The car had a flap, that you could put down between the backseat and the trunk..... and we would put it down and I could literally ride "in the trunk"!!!! (I was 2 yrs old then, and NO such thing as a car seat, or seat belts) LOL, so you brought back a fun memory for me!
I think you had hired your other mother’s helper right before the pandemic hit-then she couldn’t come to your house any more. When I only had one child and worked full time I had a cleaning lady come once a week and sometimes a neighborhood girl over to play with my son so I could get something done. It’s great that your family supports getting help with the household.

I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of this wonderful family for years with all the ups, downs and just the normal way of kids. Thank you. It really must be frustrating to have to deal with not happy people. I have two kids and never would have thought you were doing anything to brag. You inspire me with your ideas and I just take it as for any size fam. Bring your lettuce in and submerge it in water and leave it for a few hours. It sweetens the lettuce. That is the same thing the big farms do. I have loads of different lettuces that I do with that when I harvest.

I am an adoptive Mom. My husband and I adopted all 6 of our children. At one point we were fostering another so we had 7. At this time it was when the signature would show at the bottom of each text you sent. Mine was 7kidsRheaven2me. A lot of my friends told me that sounded more like chaos and trouble. Lol. I loved it then and still love it today! Let the haters hate on.lol

Lettuce is considered a cold crop. Once it gets hot, it starts to turn bitter. The plus side to lettuce is that it can tolerate a light frost. I'm exploring more into gardening. So I haven't had lettuce after a frost, but I'm told it's sweeter. I grew up in NE but now live in SD. I'm willing to talk about tips to make gardening easier if you want to

Sara, I would watch your videos even if you didn’t have kids. I love your personality and Christian content. It’s hard to find good clean videos these days. I am 66 years and love worship music. You and your family are so talented. I lost my daughter to ovarian cancer 10 years ago. God has blessed me with a son and daughter in law and three granddaughters. Thank you for sharing clean videos. You remind me of my daughter. She loved kids and had several foster children. She loved God and shared Jesus with everyone she met.

Your friends garden stand is bigger and more robust because she has a bunch of flowers in there which is bringing in the pollination. U coukd get the sane effect by putting the flowers in pots next to the big standard too. I envy u. I so want those stands. They look so fun.
I'm so glad to hear that you have found yourselves some help. It's not that being a mom of a large family can't do it all, but if you have the resources to acquire help then I say do it. Some folks have no real idea of what it is like to have eyes on so many little ones. It takes a lot of energy and well, let's face it, you gotta sleep sometimes, right? 🤣 As mom of 2 who had 13 total through my home I can completely appreciate the need for help. So, I say, good on y'all. I'm looking forward to seeing some more RV trips as well.

What a nice truck Solo!!! I had to laugh.... riding in the trunk!!! In 1966 my Dad bought a brand new Barracuda! The car had a flap, that you could put down between the backseat and the trunk..... and we would put it down and I could literally ride "in the trunk"!!!! (I was 2 yrs old then, and NO such thing as a car seat, or seat belts) LOL, so you brought back a fun memory for me!
I think you had hired your other mother’s helper right before the pandemic hit-then she couldn’t come to your house any more. When I only had one child and worked full time I had a cleaning lady come once a week and sometimes a neighborhood girl over to play with my son so I could get something done. It’s great that your family supports getting help with the household.
I’m so happy you have a “mothers helper “ as I can’t think of anyone more deserving. I think the ability to laugh at yourself makes the mood lighter .
