Nice! You are so lucky to have maples there...It's so little than you can get out of birch. Birch sap is better just drink or make "Sima". Maple is so different! 😀
Sap (mahla) is very refreshing and it's amazing cause it does not taste anything but fresh. But when you add it in the other ingredient, it makes it much better!
Hello :-) I habe one question: why did you keep covers in the pots while boiling? Would it not be fast er to evaporate the Walter with open pots? Terveisin karjalasta!

@@Korpitalo I actually only have two that I know of and many old birches.

Maybe 😁 We havn't think it that way... It's very slow process and the result is quite tiny 😃
You can hear how windy it gets. Also, I don't know about you, but I don't want any more ash, smoke, and dead ants in my coffee than I already have.
