I swear the design philosophy for fighter pass 2 was "Go crazy -- make whatever you always wanted to play but couldn't because of game balance.".
...and guided by that design philosophy, they created:
-girl with only ranged attacks that aren't projectiles, that doesn't struggle up close
-guy who builds his own platforms, has all kinds of unique properties, but still has great close combat ability
-guy with a sword 2x as long as the next longest who gets faster and stronger for free every stock
-the fastest swordie who also has good range and hit boxes, but can switch to a slower more powerful swordie with even more range to KO whenever, so they have no real weakness
-heavy character whose as strong as a superheavy with the combos of a lightweight and is the size of a midweight
-swordie with spamable magic who can basically fly
All of them have weaknesses. If you just thoughtlessly spam with min min it puts her in so much end lag that its a free combo for whoever shes fighting. She also has a terrible time landing and a very linear recovery. And she doesn't have many out of shield options, just up tilt and down smash really. No shield grab sucks 😭
Steve is usually easy to beat online, no one is acola so its easy to exploit Steves small hitboxes and laggy special moves.
Sephie has a long sword sure but he's hella light and combo food. Hes kind of like donkey kong actually, good advantage but awful disadvantage. Most characters have projectiles too so its not like long sword makes him safe to camp from everyone.
Pyra and Mythra are definitely strong, but they're still just a rush down bruiser at the end of the day, not the end all be all. Mythras combos can be easily sdi out of and pyra is so slow its your own fault if you get hit by everything she does. and they both have the wordt recoveries of the entire pass.
Kazuya does suck to play against because of all the stuns but he isnt very fast or have great air control so you can combo him right back on whiffs. But yeah, losing neutral again him might be too easy to do 😅
and hero is pretty mid, yeah the magic can be annoying but because of mana its easy to out camp him and force him to approach you ti get mana back, or rush him down as fox or pikachu because his moves are slow.

Min min's main advantage over any character is that a lot of people still don't know how to play against her.
Which is silly, i honestly cant remember the last time i lost to an online min min. Most people just mindlessly hold towards her and get stuck in her wall andcall her a bad character

Tbh I feel like minmin is so uncommon and nobody knows the matchup. Once I learned the matchup with link it wasn’t bad playing against her at all. Nair just invalidates her arms lmao.
@Steven Rios I’ve played link since the 64 days. I struggle with samus too even though it’s supposedly a good matchup for link. Oddly enough min min is supposedly a bad matchup for link but I have a way easier time with min min compared to samus.

She is so hated,because she is so Stupid,she have the best range in the game,One of the bests Up smashes in the game,The 2nd longest Grab in the game,she is heavy,she is lame as much,and is almost impossible for you to win with a super heavy against a Min-Min
Im new to the game and I know this videos almost a year old but how do I make minmins dragon hands always shoot fire? I really struggle to get her dragon arms to shoot when I want them too, and havent been able to make them shoot during jumping attacks or when the dragon arm launches in the second volley. Any advice would be awesome thanks!
Sorry this is a smidge late, but don't feel bad it confused me too. all you have to do is keep holding the button after a smash attack. It won't breath fire after a tilt or weak air attack. It has to be a smash input. Min min can do her side smash in the air as well!
Also!!! The main dragon hand, the one that you can't change, gets charged up for a bit after you successfully grab and throw someone

That's just Sillintor
GSP scales on its own, even for characters you've only played a couple of times. The base GSP for characters you haven't played also scales depending on your overall GSP. If you start grinding to get everyone on Elite, you'll notice that after a certain point you just have to win one or two matches. After that you can just let their GSP scale on its own. I have a Zelda at 12.1m and I haven't played her in over a year lmao.

I feel like min min doesn't hold up over time. Like, all her cool setups never change over time. Same DLC gameplan for hours. Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoyed the episode, it just started to make me lose touch with reality towards the end.
