absolutelly beautiful! Ravenna is a too hysterical, rabid character, Charlize falls into over acting sometimes, but let's be serious, who is not going to love an evil queen who emerges from that white liquid like a Greek goddess?
Everything she says is law.
I do think Charlize Theron portrayed the Evil Queen very well. Her character is over the top, she's greedy, cruel and scared to lose the only thing she's ever had (her beauty) which is shown by how she overreacts.
But let's face it, seeing her coming out of the milkish bath gave me life and gosh she doesn't even have to try to be the fairest of them all when she already is !

Yes, it does. Ravenna's beauty is not related to rage, but to her spell, the one inherited from her mother, which Snow White undoes in the end. Since when she kills the king she does so without shouting, and is completely powerful, effective.
I often wonder if Ravenna had a daughter if she had that same magic too.
Charlize heats up, but does not burn with this performance.
over acting? so you expect a hysterical evil queen/witch in a fairytale fantasy film to be reserved with her craziness? this acting style actually perfectly fits the role.
