I watched countless videos and finally stumbled upon your video thank god. Your the only one showing the actual work 👍 thanks
Very clear. I think I have been jacking up that needle get up on the top of the carb. Going to rip it back open and take another crack at it tomorrow. I feel a lot more confident after watching your video. Thank you so much!
BRO I WAS PUTTING THAT CARB OVER THE NIGHT FKIN. THANK YOU!!!!!!! YOU HELPED A LOT!!
Awesome and simple to follow video! Much appreciated and very helpful! Look forward to seeing more in the future when I need to fix something else :)
Thank you so many try to make these videos but do a horrible job of simply communicating what there doing. You my sir did terrific
Thank you sir! Will be doing this for my kids as well. Much appreciated!
Just got a Coleman 125cc, brand new I decided to buy this carburetor to replace the crappy Chinese one- thanks for the video
Can't thank you enough. Amazing video.. same wheeler and everything.
Thanks for this step by step video!!!!
Thank you 🙏
my carb has a crack where it connect to pipe to motor and i think reason it wont start and does gas line need a filter
Directly next to the left of the fuel inlet what is that little brass nub cause when the fuel is on it pours fuel out of it on my daughters. I noticed it was on the old one when you took it off but wasn't on the new one you put on.
big thanks!
Thank you
I love your videos. What makes my 90cc yamaha raptor run soo bad when the engine is cold? I have to let it idle for 10 minutes with the choke on, before the kids can ride. After it warms up it runs perfect with the choke off. I read that these are rebranded Chinese engine/carbs.
Could be a couple different things. The carb could just be dirty, and the choke is getting slightly stuck. That’s probably where I’d start.
Pull it off and try and clean it and see what happens.
Nice vid. Would you happen to remember what slot the c-clip is in on the needle jet? I can't get my kids quad to pull fuel to fire. Will start with starting fluid and there is fuel in the bowl at the right level. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@@LiftingDad I honestly don’t know, I also tune them regularly as the seasons change to get the best performance out of them. I just turn until it sounds right.
Best thing to do is to take them back to “stock” and start from there..

Any link to order a new carb
Well, I told myself I wasn't gonna work on this cheap 4wheeler, but that seems too easy. While I'm here, Do you know of a replacement for the starter button/lights switch on the handle bar?.. and a rear rack replacement?
Amazon for the switch. I dunno if a rear rack replacement. I’ve got one I could ship, but it would be expensive. We just pulled them off on ours.
I did the same but now mine wont start 🤦🏻♂️
The air cleaner I took off of mine had a nipple that had another hose coming out of it going back to the engine. The new one doesn’t. Is that an issue?
I have no idea why China does these quads like this.
That's your crank case breather line.
Usually the line just falls off the engine pointed towards the ground somewhere off the back of the engine.
I bought a pz20 carburetor now my throttle cable is too short idle high what length throttle cable do u have ?
I'm using the factory throttle cable. You can lengthen it some by the right brake.
Throttle goes on top .. fuel line goes on .. where does the hose on the bottom go ?? Mine came with that hose attached to carburetor but I can’t figure out if it’s supposed to connect to something or if it’s not necessary.. since I couldn’t figure it out I just pulled the hose off .. atv seems to be running fine but I feel like that needs to hook up to something… right?
Hose on the bottom is the bowl overflow line. It just routes the fuel off your engine, if the float sticks.
@@BellyUpFish thank you! I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out where I was supposed to connect it 😪
Where does the line that is connected to the top of the original air filter go when you put the new one in? I didn't see line connected to the new one. Need to replace my son's but don't want to order the wrong thing
I ran into this as well. I'm replacing mine but I'm just going to take that piece off and somehow connect it to the new air filter. They don't make a setup exactly like that one. I looked and looked
@@jacobgrogan1006 You just connect some tubing to it and run it up somewhere it can't get wet or suck up water. I ran mine up towards the seat and zip tied it. An older guy was telling me it's just an air vent so the engine has air for displacement as the piston is going up and down.
is a pz20 good for a 125 tao tao chettah
hey @bellyupfish i need to up air filter ,,, what the name of the air filter u have on this bike,,,,,, with the hose attracted at the cap what kinda air filter is that ?
That filter came with the carb when I bought it on Amazon, I honestly don't know the name of it.
I replaced carp and it’s still not running I did it exactly like this vid any suggestions?
Fuel, air and spark are the first things to look at.
Have you checked your spark plug?
Mine starts but is wide open. What do I need to change?
I’d look at the throttle slide first. Pull the cable off and see what happens.
actually mine too with the same carb. the throttle slide sits down just fine and the cable moves and seems perfect
I have a tao tao 125 and everytime you try to start it it makes the electric noise and won't start?
@@williammills8953 Same, i’m guessing we have to replace carb and do an oil change. My battery is charged but i broke mine in and all my bolts are loosened . Soon put street tires on mine.
Where dose the lower pipe go??
Sorry, I just saw this. The lowest pipe on the carb should be the fuel overflow pipe that runs down to the ground.
I put a 26mm molkt on mine and it rips, some of these quads came with a catalytic converter I cut mine of and it was clogged
@@jgats2361 just cab and lower & higher main jets to tune it also you might have to port match the carb to the intake manifold and port your head so if you don't want to go through all that just get a 20 or 24mm
Do you have a link for the Carb you used?
Replace with the one you suggested and it worked like a champ. Idle speed is so much more consistent over stock! Thanks again for your help
I'm surprised that carburators are still used today. Thought everything with a motor was fuel injected.
@@BellyUpFish It's because their too cheap to have technology in their ATV's. I pay them 3500 for an ATV and it can't even have overhead cams or fuel injection!
@@YoungBamily My ATV is burning fumes and smells like a 2 stroke due to its detuned cheap carburetor (it does not have 2 stroke power).
@@fish_R_stinky69 Honestly i believe i am in the same boat. They should have a shop for these cheap garbage bikes.
