Almost 7 years later, Bloody Tears is back by popular demand! This was the #2 most requested May Madness remake from you all from the public 2020 May Madness Remake Request Form, only a few votes behind the #1 song.
Bloody Tears was up for consideration last year, but since I had just done Wicked Child, I figured it could wait a little bit. I had also considered doing it later in 2019, but I never really got the free time to do it.
But you all made this an easy shoe-in for May Madness 2020, so let's get to it!

The Nerd has more games that you could use for potential, like LJN-published games, Super Pitfall, Top Gun, Chex Quest, Pepsiman, Crazybus, Superman 64, ET Atari, Battletoads, AVGN Adventures and Assimilation, and even the dreaded Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

You may not believe this, but I was playing the new Terraria update with a friend of mine and during a Blood Moon one of the enemies dropped an item called the Bloody Tear, with the tagline being "What a terrible night to have a curse."
I love Castlevania, so that was already great to find... But then after we finished I come here and see that this released, TODAY! Amazing coincidence(And an amazing piece to boot!)...
But the fact he's doing PLANTERA(Terraria boss) next has officially made me lose it. This has to have been planned.

This one deserved a remake, your 2013 Bloody Tears remix got me into Castlevania music!

Nice revision of Bloody Tears, my favorite theme in general of Castlevania. Is not only a catchy theme, but also a versatile one. It can be used in slow tempo for sad or calm moments, and also fast tempo for battle.
Is a theme that makes the demons feel stronger, but encourage you to, as Simon said, to stand resolute against the challenge, in a epic way.
Wicked opening using the additional part that Rondo of Blood used in it's rendition. Then again you're always excellent at melding together various renditions of songs into one kickass track.
I would love to see a Remake of Vampire Killer and Beginning in the near future, Love your covers/remixes

Growing up with these games on NES and SNES gives me a great sense of nostalgia every time I hear a track from the series. For me Bloody Tears and Vampire Killer are the two most memorable BGM in the Castlevania series, despite pretty much all of the BGM for Castlevania being amazing. Your covers/remixes of these and others have been a treat to listen to. Keep rockin'.
This is still the most iconic Castlevania song to me, even more than Vampire Killer.

Always love when you change things up, and I noticed that doesn’t just apply to the intro either; I heard quite a few additional tracks mixed in here this time around! The keyboard part was also super great, as always; to be able to jump between instruments and still keep the exact same level of hype going is something I’ve always loved about your music :)

I've never played Castlevania but I've heard the soundtrack. The keyboard definitely fits perfectly with this remix.
One of my all time favorite GaMetal versions, that already sounded awesome, gets a revamp and sounds even better. Great job, Jonny! Maybe it's time for another Ace Combat song, or maybe a Kingdom Hearts one finally? Keep it up! :D
Your Bloody Tears cover is what got me introduced to your channel like...4+ years ago. And hearing you finally re-vise it after so long fills me with so much joy! I can hear the differences and while I actually prefer the older one more to the revision, the revision itself is by no means bad. It just has a different kind of sound to it thanks to the riffs sticking closer to the original and some of the other sounds giving it this almost...ethereal feeling in the case of the original one from 2013. For others, the revision would sound better given how it does its own thing and the riffs become more creative as a result. Regardless, it's wonderful all the same and it made my evening to hear your work remixing what is likely my favorite VG track of all-time again!
