No bells and whistles, no unnecessary editing, no acting, wow , no sponsors! All thoroughness and great detail! The level of SAFETY taken.. it’s a freaking gas tank after all.. keep the good work up, stay true to your roots.. yes I’m 5 years late.. this is EXCELLENT.
Great video, you will need to buy the Dorman 800-041 5/8in Fuel Line clips. They are designed to be a one time use part, they are on Amazon for less than $10. I saved $700 by doing it myself. Total time 3hrs start to finish, fuel pump $130, fuel clips $10, satisfaction not giving the dealership my money, priceless.
700 dollars?? Impossible. My mech wanted 400 bucks. Did it myself. Everything was right there. Banged it out in 2 hours with beer breaks. Just needed to replace that round o-ring washer.
Just replaced Fuel Pump and sending unit in my daughter's 2007 Xterra. This is the best video on YT to help you though the job ! Using Amazon, I chose to by the Bosch unit for about $180 and added the Dorman plastic clips to my order. Glad I got the Dorman clips because the original ones broke. I would just get new ones and not waste time trying not to break the brittle originals. Also, I took an extra hour or so to pump out the 7 gallons of gas with a small hand pump, had to access the gas via the tank opening after disconnecting the filler tube. Couldn't fit floor jack under tank, and with it empty, you don't really need a jack anyway. Glad I had the impact wrench to loosen the tank strap bolts! Was tough to get the electrical connector on the new pump, very snug fit, Thought I was done but had a gas leak due to pressure hose not being fastened securely on the new pump, luckily there was no other issue. If I can do this, you can do it too! Thanks to Ry for the excellent video, I saved about $800 and spent 5 hours with my mistakes and stretch/water breaks. Now that I did it once, I could do it again in about 3 hrs. if tank is empty to start and I didn't waste time trying to save the original Dorman clips.
Just finished this with my 2005 Xterra. Thanks Ry, I've used 5 or 6 of your videos now for major maintenance and all projects have been successful. I'm blacking out my X soon with your trim paint video. Keep em coming.
This video was spot on for my 2006 Frontier. Had trouble getting the fuel line clip removed from the old pump, but everything else went really smoothly. Thanks so much for your time and effort in making this and all your videos!!!!
Just replaced my sender/sensor rather than the whole unit. Wanted to say many thanks for detailing the whole procedure. It really helped. I had one mishap where the fuel line wasn't fully clipped in (and spewed gas everywhere) so I had to drop the tank a second time, but I finally got it. Thanks a bunch man, and keep up with the videos, your content is awesome!
This video is outstanding. Had to replace the fuel sending unit on my 2006 Xterra last weekend and followed this step by step. About 3 hours (and a couple of bloody knuckles) and passed inspection with flying colors after the codes reset. Thanks for the great details!
97 pathfinder R50 after dealing with p0505 and ecu replacement and tps now I have a MAF p0100 checked open wire no big deal. Attempt to do idle fuel mixture procedure stalls out no codes check pressure no adequate pressure well looks like I gotta do a pump now
You're so awesome! I love watching your videos. I've installed my own hitch, changed out my radio, conditioned the plastic trim and installed my own spark plugs thanks to your videos :D Changing the crankshaft position sensor next, thinking the fuel pump is gunna pop up here pretty soon too lol. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Awesome instructions! Your video enabled me, a complete newbie to car mechanics to exchange the fuel pump with a little help by my injured hubby. Probably not what you put it up for, but honestly very empowering for me to see I can get something like this done! Thanks again!
It's exactly why I upload these! I actually catch flack from more experienced people because they think I over explain. But TFB, I would rather help people like you. I love hearing stories like this and I appreciate you sharing it with me. Hope your hubby gets well soon. Congrats on crushing the job. 💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks for posting this very helpful video. I have a couple of suggestions, first never take chances with fuel connectors. Replace any connectors or hoses that break while disassembling. Second, as others have mentioned clean the tank thoroughly before removing the fuel pump/sending unit. Thirdly, carefully inspect the electrical connector that plugs into the fuel pump for signs of overheating or corrossion as this can cause fuel pump problems even if the pump itself is good.
For those of you with the Gen 2 Frontiers that have had the fuel pump fail...did you have a period of time (before it failed for good) that your truck would randomly go dead while going down the road, but you could crank it right back up? My 2006 4.0 did this for at least 2 years before the fuel pump finally went out. It wasn't often, but about one a week it would randomly just die sitting at a stop light or even going down the road, and I'd just pop it in neutral and crank it right back up. In hindsight, I'm pretty sure now that was the early stages of the fuel pump failing.
Compared to the Timing Chain job this was soooo much easier on my 05 Pathfinder. Hardest part was trying to figure out a lift to lower/raise the tank while keeping balance. I didn't feel comfortable with my floor jack and ratchet straps so i used my ATV lift and it wasn't perfect but it did work. Other than that it went pretty smoothly. I did break both clips but i prepared and already had a new pair that i bought with the new fuel pump...once done the truck fired right up and check engine light gone. And best of all i now know how much gas is in the tank lol.. Thanks again Ry your videos are the best very detailed and accurate. Keep doing what you do.
Thanks Ry The Car Guy. I watched the video and figured it out, saved me $500. I also bought the Dorman 800-041 5/8in Fuel Line clips after reading the comments, mine broke as well.
thank you for your video. DIY guy here helping a neighbor. your tips helped. also ordered the dorman 800-041 clips as replacements since they were brittle.
Thanks for your reply, but I didn't have time to reset the engine light, so I ran the frontier with engine light on, and wallha, light went off by itself. And that was sure the problem, defective sending unit in fuel pump, the other defect the frontier had was radiator which I already changed out, and the other defect on this stupid truck is power distribution module, but have not noticed any bad symptoms on this thing. Called the dealership if any of these defects could be changed for free, but you already know it wouldn't be free. Don't buy the Nissan Frontier, nothing but problems, and it barely has 96,450 miles on it. Again thanks for the video, it sure helped us out a lot. Keep'm coming.
Good video. My son and I just replaced the fuel pump assembly on my daughters Xterra. Get the Dorman fuel line retainers part number 800-041(two clips per package) for the fuel evap hose. These clips are a one time use item, just pop the old ones out with a pocket screwdriver.
Got the P0463 code 1 week after buying my 2005 X at a used dealership :\, bought the assembly that you listed (hope that helps support the channel) and the light turned off before I could get around to dropping the tank! It keeps turning on and off, typically after I fill the tank up. I might just wait until the code stays put before doing this fix, and glad I have this vid for reference.
What a great help this was. I have been waiting years to do mine and i have watched your videos over the years leading up to me doing it today. Thanks for the video dude!
Thanks you so much for this video. Thanks to you, we successfully changed our fuel pump on our 2008 Nissan Xterra. There was a lot of cussing involved, but we did it! You're awesome! Thank you!
Ry, thanks so much for this video, as others, I was able to get this done and save at least 600 bucks. I did get the clips which I definitely recommend as I broke both, and by far the biggest challenge for me was getting the electrical plug disconnected. I had to press on the clip with pliers to get it out, but other than that it was pretty straightforward. Again, Thanks!!!
really good video. Despite your warning, I also broke the same clip. I just replaced the fuel sending 'brush' 30$USD part on the fuel pump to fix the fuel gauge/whole repair should be warranty recall in Canada but is only so in the USA. Still had to do everything you showed. Thanks. Good work!
In case anyone hasn't added this comment... That c-clip will come out if you very carefully bang out the rocks that are kind of caught up inside that clip area hit it with a screwdriver handle very carefully...... and definitely props on the video extremely good video
Well I have been putting it off but finally completely replaced my fuel pump and fuel tank on my 05 Frontier. The tank was leaking gas and every sealant I tried would not work for much more than a few months. The pump was still working but I figured I should replace it since I was in there and because it was over 10 years old. You're video helped a ton! Literally same exact process from what I could tell. Hardest part were those damn plastic electrical connections. I was able to get them all off without braking anything but it took forever. Anyways, thanks again for the great vid!
Thanks my new friend. Great video, you made the job so much easier with all the fine points. Hard to find someone like you. Watched many videos yours is by far the best. Thanks again!!
Appreciated especially, the advice at the end with regards to allowing the system to pressurize by turning ignition on and off before actually cranking.
Great video like always. You always take the time explaining everything carefully for our benefit. In the future though. If you are worried about sparks from hammering try a brass punch.
Thanks for the video. I look forward to knocking this out quick. I did the pump on my 07 Saturn Aura with somewhat short jack stands in about 2 hours....this looks a lot easier.
I like so much your explanations, you are real professional mechanic and you know to explain without doing "circus" show , as they are doing other guys , here on you tube, where under the reason that they explain something they are doing really unpleasant "circus" show. Congratulations sir ! My full respect and considerations. Definitely I'll subscribe to your channel .
Nice video. Lots of good info. I would suggest that after the tank is out, you scrub it clean BEFORE you pop the pump. ALSO use a brass drift instead of a screwdriver.(No Sparks). You should also clean the inside of the tank. Good job. Always be safe.
Thank you so much for this video. It helped a lot with the fuel pump replacement on my '06 Pathfinder. Those little plastic clips broke on mine as well, maybe you can update the description with the replacement part number so people can have them readily available. Our local parts store had them in stock, the ones I purchased where the Dorman 800‑041. Again thanks for making these videos!
I just wanted to say thanks this video truly helped me out. And great job on videos they have answered all my questions and the video quality was perfect
Want to ask you that seal wich match the wiper washer fill up with washer tank there is a seal is it available in nissan cause mine went bad and was thinking its the tank, ive dissasembled the tank but no problem 😄 so that seal only do you have any idea its matching fill up piece from engine bay to the tank which is in the inner fender,.
awesome video, i have the exact same problem with my xterra, it is going to be a good sized job, now i know what i have to do to get ready. I have made some videos on my xterra, so i know how much work it is putting together doing one of these videos, while also figuring out how to do it. thanks again!!
Very good. It's a great video for the less experienced. You were slow and informational which is great compared to other guys I watch and don't explain things worth a damn. And there too fast as well. Anyways I'll keep watching your videos if you keep posting them for sure!
A friend of mine helped me change out the fuel pump on a 06 nissan frontier b/c experiencing same problem as you, problem with gas guage. We took out the fuse and did what you did, but forgot to disconnect battery cable. Everything went smoothly, truck is running with no problems, no leaks, etc. Only thing is engine light is still on. Do we need to disconnect battery for it to reset? Would hate to do that b/c trip odometer reminds me when to change oil. Thanks for video, any feedback appreciated.
I have an OBDII reader that I use to clear my codes at home. I made a video on the one I use if you want to take a look: ua-cam.com/video/4GBiwuhwU1Y/v-deo.html
Very detailed video, I have an 08 Frontier and when I try to accelerate it doesn’t respond right away, it jerks a little, it does this every once in a while, any idea what could be, thanks
Dude, thank you so much for making such a thorough video on this procedure. You seem to have a lot of patience when doing mechanics, which I lack. Good job!
Great video, thanks. Question: the strap with the "T" at the end, that hangs from a cross member, when I dropped the tank it wouldn't come out. Fell out on it's own while I had the tank out, and now I can't seem to find the magic touch to hang it up again. Would appreciate any suggestion here. Thanks!
Very nice, thorough video thanks. I came here to try to get an understanding. How do I know if I need a fuel pump or just a fuel level sensor? 2007 Xterra same code P0463. Only symptom is the gas hand situation that you describe.
Thanks again for posting this, was looking to tackle it in the coming weeks but hit another road block. Rats have made a colony inside my engine and ate every wire imaginable. Looking to claim on comprehensive insurance to avoid the monotonous shirk wrapping and soldering of new wires. Cheers!
Thanks for another great video. On start up I noticed your vehicle had high revs why is this and where is the fuel filter situated? My Navara although it always starts you have to crank for a short while then it revs high when it starts could you offer any advice as to why this would be? I thought maybe a blocked fuel filter or faulty pump? Many Thanks.
Great in detail explanation! So did this fix the problem with fuel gauge needle going up and down while driving? Because mine doing this especially going down the hill the needle drops to minimum and then goes up, kinda irritating
Hi Ray I do have a Nissan Pathfinder 2005 my fuel Level gauge don’t ready accurate with the digital deader. Sometimes the digital read empty but the level gauge read half tank Any idea about this ?
Ray I need to change my fuel strips for they are bad rusted the truck came out of Chicago Illinois but bots are so rusted I rounded one bote head off . Can you help me with this ??
Awesome video I just finished changing the fuel pump on my 07 Xterra and everything went smooth thanks to you, question does my 07 xterra have a fuel filter as well?
great video. I just replaced the fuel sensor sending unit and not the entire pump. this video helped a lot, but my gauge is still reading empty for some reason. Any other ideas what might be wrong besides the sensor?
+Austin Murphy the gauge is a separate piece that sits at the very bottom of the fuel pump bracket. Its a float at the end of a steel rod. That rod has two electrical fingers in it that run on a track. That's how it tells the levels. The most common reason for failure is those little fingers start to pull away from the track. Thus giving you no reading. If you did not replace that part then you will sit have the problem.
I understand that the gas line filter is in this tank. Is it a part of the entire fuel pump system and if so, where is it? I understand that changing the filter is a scheduled maintenance item that I am dreading if it is infact a part of the fuel pump system.
Maybe you’ll know the answer cause everyone else can’t figure it out. I have a 2005 Xterra, it has hard time starting when hot, it’ll start every time when cold, but after turning it off it won’t start until I wait 10-15 min then it’ll start. I changed the fuel pump, relay, spark plugs and coil packs, cam shaft sensors and it still has the problem. Once started it runs great. Any advice will be appreciated.
I just took out back seat then cut hole in floor behind seat exposing fuel pump, changed pump, used sheetmetal and rubber gasket to seal hole, no fumes or water can or has got in, lot quicker and lot easier
Great video. I was under the impression that the error code indicated a faulty fuel sending unit. I have this issue that the gauge reads correctly until about half full then drops to empty, The check engine light is also on. I need to fix my 05 Xterra and wondered if just replacing the fuel sending unit is enough or is it wise to go ahead and replace the entire fuel pump module just in case it is near failing? What do you think?
Brother, i have a problem with my xterra. I have good Rams but it doesn’t accelerate at all. Got my transmission check and they it’s good. The throttlebody is new also. I removed both catalytic converters and still having the same problem. Do you think is the fuel pump that is not throwing sufficient gasoline? I really don’t know what else to check. I been a subscriber since long time and every time i have a problem with my xterra i watch your videos! Thank you so much for helping us a lot !
How did the Spectra Premium pump work out? I'm looking at one now but not familiar with the brand. There's a Bosch one also but its almost double the price.
My manual for my 05 pathfinder said to drop the propeller shaft, but you didn't seem to have to do this, and your vehicle has been very similar to mine. Another video showed them removing it, but it didn't really look like he needed to, so idk. Would probably save like an hour to just leave it be, but I was wondering if you had any struggles with clearance issues and such
@@Rythecarguy thanks for your response. I've seen others cut holes in their floors to make an access panel to switch it out a bit easier, but not sure if that would be a less than ideal shortcut that leads to more headaches in the long run, but I've also wondered if I dropped the tank and ripped all the hoses from the body if my tank fell off the jack support, it might be even worse than a hole in the floor that I could smooth over with some aluminum tape and seal off with some siding caulk or something. Kinda torn, especially since I have like zero time to get it done and it may end up being an emergency cut and paste mission if my pump fails sooner than later. Was supposed to drop it yesterday, but the pump was late and I didn't want to start and not get it at all and be screwed either way for work the rest of the week.
I have P1446 code. 2005 Xterra (auto). Do you have material explaining on what to do? Seems like a bunch of things that needs checking to resolve this issue. A video would be lovely.
great video lots of details, this will help me for preparing for this job. wow your truck is really clean underneath wish l lived in a place were road salt is not used. look forward to videos in future... say maybe on half shafts.
+Mr Thunderbarker Thanks!! Yea, the "Florida car" is a beautiful thing. You will see cars down here that were built 20+ years ago that look like they just rolled off the lot.
I cant get my daughters Xterra to start at all, just replaced battery, turns over just like this one. 125k miles, 2012, I really think its the fuel pump but REALLY dont want to tackle that job. checked fuse, it looks good, cant find relay. What about plugs and wires?? throttle body test Angel Fix did?
Great video. Any issues with that brand fuel pump? I see that there are many brands to choose from with varying prices. It appears that Bosch is the OEM original part. I’m having trouble deciding. I changed the fuel sending unit several years ago due to a trouble code and Improper gauge reading. Now, the fuel pump has not gone out, but is making a terrible squeaking sound every time you go over even the slightest bump. I searched under the vehicle to figure out where the noise was coming from and sure enough it is inside the fuel tank. After a little research, apparently this was an issue on the 06 model and the pump was replaced if the vehicle was under warranty.
Would the pump failing or pressure valve failing to maintain pressure be a symptom of hard starts in the Xterra? My batt checks fine, but it seems to randomly have hard starts and almost failed to start this morning.
same symptom brought me here. Hard start, took to shop and they quoted $1,000 to replace pump. Bought to change it out now. Did you end up replacing yours?
I had a similar problem happen to me last night. I can confirm that I definitely smelled burning oil before my truck shut off quietly while I was sitting in a drive-thru line. Initially it would not restart but after about 3 crank attempts it did start up again. I was able to make it home and immediately checked the oil level, which was fine. The truck will start, but is very hard to crank. Your video indicates to me that I also have a fuel problem. Thanks for the upload.
Hello. I have a request for a video or even a quick answer. Who knows it may just be a simple thing. On my 2015 Xterra the fuel door on my car (appears to be similar to your fuel door) does not spring close or remain open. Is it requiring a new spring? Or is it a quick snap back in place type of thing. Thank you for your assistance!
Great video! What about draining the gas tank to clean out out any debris, dirt, grease, whatever that may have contributed to the pump failure in the first place? Any thoughts?
I am thinking about just cutting a hole under the back seat after dropping the tank for future access. My Camry has access port from the factory and I don't see why not have that here.
My dude. Can not tell you how valuable your XTerra videos have been for me. Thanks for the great info.

Just finished on my 2007 Xterra. This video was a lifesaver! Also saved ~$500 by doing it myself. Many many thanks!!
Loved the video. I went the easy route and cut a hole in the back seat. It was simple with the right tools.

Frank, why not replace the whole assembly while you have it all out?
You change so much things on that Xterra, by the time you’re done with it it’ll be like a brand new car!
Haha just about!

you did the spark plugs? they are a pain I did mine also.
Watched your video and got on it and finished in 45 minutes. Dropped the tank cleaned out tank installed new pump and done. Thanks for video
Good work man. Glad you got it knocked out.
Very thorough. This means the world to someone who hasn't tackled a job like this. Thank you.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching.

You are really good at explaining the process of all work done on the Xterra, all your videos are excellent, thanks.
You’re welcome Erick, thanks so much for watching.
best how to video i have seen for nissan
Ray how often should I charge my fuel pump it's been working fine but has 246 thousand miles on it ?? Thanks Carl .
They are technically not maintenance items and they usually show symptoms before failure. TBTH I would wait until you see issues before taking action.

The video gives me the confidence to replace the fuel pump on my car. Excellent!!
Glad it helps!! 👍🏻
Great video. Finished my job exactly same amount of time as you said. Wouldn't have been that way without your tips and pointers.

really good video.
+Joey Scagnoli thanks man!
Nice job. My dealer wanted 1200 for that job. Found a quality part on RA for about 180. Looking forward to knocking it out.
What brand did you end up buying on Rock Auto?
I'm in the process of comparing the different models and am thinking about buying the Bosch part.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was very useful and informative!
That's great! doesn't it feel good to get it done? I love getting things working again.
👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the video! I'll be tackling this job tonight.
Of course! Hope it goes well!
Great video like always. You always take the time explaining everything carefully for our benefit. In the future though. If you are worried about sparks from hammering try a brass punch.
💪🏻
really one of best how to videos I've ever watched, thanks for your time you put into this.
Wow that means a lot for you to say that. Thank you. They are a ton of work but I am happy to do it if I know they help people.
Thanks for the video. I look forward to knocking this out quick. I did the pump on my 07 Saturn Aura with somewhat short jack stands in about 2 hours....this looks a lot easier.
Another fantastic video. I broke a C clip like you did on an old Ford Exploder and the local Napa sold them in a four pack.
How much for the clips
Johnny Lorona, they were like $2.50 when I got there.
Thank you I appreciate that
I like so much your explanations, you are real professional mechanic and you know to explain without doing "circus" show , as they are doing other guys , here on you tube, where under the reason that they explain something they are doing really unpleasant "circus" show.
Thank you Ricardo. It's so much easier to just break that silly little clip and replace it than try to remove it.
thanks for posting great video, is there a drain plug in the bottom of the tank to empty the tank first?
I just wanted to say thanks this video truly helped me out. And great job on videos they have answered all my questions and the video quality was perfect
You’re welcome. Thank you for watching!
Thank you Ry for the video, it was tough but I got it done.
Glad you got it taken care of! Thanks for watching
Thanks for posting. I will be changing my pump next week
I loved the video. Very few good ones for us Xterra owners.
Thanks man! I have like 100 more of you need anything for your X
Thanks for creating your video!! The video provides so much information for advance planning purposes etc...
Thank you so much for this video. It helped me a lot to install the Fuel level gauge on my Frontier and Pathfinder. Nice Video!
+Thomas G Hernandez Rivera thanks!
awesome video, i have the exact same problem with my xterra, it is going to be a good sized job, now i know what i have to do to get ready. I have made some videos on my xterra, so i know how much work it is putting together doing one of these videos, while also figuring out how to do it. thanks again!!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching
Very good. It's a great video for the less experienced. You were slow and informational which is great compared to other guys I watch and don't explain things worth a damn. And there too fast as well. Anyways I'll keep watching your videos if you keep posting them for sure!
Thanks man! Thats the plan!
Good video bro. Savings this when I need to do mine. I have to do my engine mounts when they come in on my Xterra
Sweet man, let me know how it goes.
Thanks for doing this! Just finished mine up and this video made it easy.
Glad it helped!
Super helpful Ry, thanks a ton.
Thanks again for posting this, was looking to tackle it in the coming weeks but hit another road block. Rats have made a colony inside my engine and ate every wire imaginable. Looking to claim on comprehensive insurance to avoid the monotonous shirk wrapping and soldering of new wires. Cheers!
+Josh Hahn Damn! sorry to hear that. I hope they help you out.
Thanks for the vid. I just replaced the unit in my 2006 Frontier and this was extremely helpful!
awesome! was it the exact same process?
Yep, exactly.
+W Bennington Nice, I should put that in the description. thank you!
Yes. The fuel sending unit fixed the issue
Thanks!
ive been watching your xterra videos and they been helpfull thanks man keep up the good job
Thanks man!
Hi Ray I do have a Nissan Pathfinder 2005 my fuel Level gauge don’t ready accurate with the digital deader. Sometimes the digital read empty but the level gauge read half tank Any idea about this ?
It’s likely that you’re level indicator in you fuel tank is getting stuck due to corrosion.
@@Rythecarguy thank so much for answering. The pump is only one year old
Ray I need to change my fuel strips for they are bad rusted the truck came out of Chicago Illinois but bots are so rusted I rounded one bote head off .
You sir are a life saver!
Any chance you can do a video on how to change the rear axle seals/bearings?
I do not currently have plans to do that but if end up doing it I will let you know.
Ever figure this out?
Same exact problem here. No one can figure it out. Replaced everything and still won't start after it's hot. Anyone figure it out?
Question. Throwing code P2A00 and P0180. Fuel pump works and is maybe 2 years old. Could they be connected? Should I replace with higher quality pump?
Brother, i have a problem with my xterra. I have good Rams but it doesn’t accelerate at all. Got my transmission check and they it’s good. The throttlebody is new also. I removed both catalytic converters and still having the same problem. Do you think is the fuel pump that is not throwing sufficient gasoline? I really don’t know what else to check. I been a subscriber since long time and every time i have a problem with my xterra i watch your videos! Thank you so much for helping us a lot !
Getting ready to replace mine as sometimes it takes a few cranks to get it started. Has this brand pump held up well for you? Thanks!
Yea it's been great. Still running strong a few years later. 👍🏻
@@Rythecarguy Cool!!
How did the Spectra Premium pump work out? I'm looking at one now but not familiar with the brand. There's a Bosch one also but its almost double the price.
Replaced it 6 years ago and still running strong! So problems so far. 🤘🏻👍🏻
My manual for my 05 pathfinder said to drop the propeller shaft, but you didn't seem to have to do this, and your vehicle has been very similar to mine. Another video showed them removing it, but it didn't really look like he needed to, so idk. Would probably save like an hour to just leave it be, but I was wondering if you had any struggles with clearance issues and such
Yea, I am not sure why it says that. i had no issue at all removing the take with the shaft in.
This was a awesome video it helped me out a lot and showed me how it was supposed to be done correctly
+Jasin West thanks! I'm glad ot helped. More coming soon!
Hey I have questions I just change my fuel pump and now When I put gas in the gas come out a lil it want me fill it up. What can I do to fix it?
Honestly its been great. Zero problems so far.
What size are the bolts for the straps please help!! Our bolts and straps are very rusted do you have any advice
Is there just a fuel filter in the sending unit or is there a second one somewhere?
Please hellp!!! What size are the bolts that hold the fuel tank and straps in
If I'm not mistaken, the pump didn't fail. the Fuel sending unit that sends info to the fuel gauge failed.
I am thinking about just cutting a hole under the back seat after dropping the tank for future access. My Camry has access port from the factory and I don't see why not have that here.
