Upon thinking this is notable. I think for decades all the NASCAR drivers stay at the track in RVs. 50 years ago they would stay in the hotels closest to the track. As a 12 year old I thought it was cool to have Cale Yarborough hanging out at the Holiday Inn pool while the crews of less well funded teams were changing an engine in the parking lot.
What a dumb replies! NASCAR was and is still very popular. Like Formula 1 in the past, also the same in atmosphere like in the comment. And yes, most drivers have very luxury motorhomes in the paddock, also in these times. As a fellow Dutchmen I am ashamed of the highly annoying ‘fans’ around the track in this kind of stupid YT vid. I wouldn’t leave the track as a F1 driver probably or do it as Max, anonymous and casual with a black helmet. I am a big fan of Max, he’s so humble, intelligent and down to earth, something you hysterical and dumb fans you can learn from. And that’s also the reason why he is very successful and most people don’t.

In a F1 car you have to change gear manualy. It's by wire and a computer helps with the clutch, but the racer desides when and which gear.
