Thanks so much for the video. My partners machine just failed and I took the top off thinking it would be a simple job of changing the brushes!! 😂😂 Found your video to find out it’s brushless!!! Figured it was worth forking out a tenner for a new capacitor rather than £300 for a new machine and hope it would do the trick. Followed all your instructions, cursed you at times for not showing more detail (😂😂) but am ultimately grateful as we now have a working machine again!!! £10 instead of £300 and no wastage. So, thank you very much for taking the time to post this video. 😊😊

      Thanks Mark,
oddly enough I could actually feel as though someone was slagging me off yesterday as my ears were burning 🔥. lol just kidding. I tried my best to make the process audible and visually easy to understand Mark and I’m happy you managed to successfully resolve besides the small erm, misunderstanding, your partner must be pleased too as you have saved money and avoided landfill, that is precisely why this video was made.

Thank you so much. I have a very old Hoover Nextra 8, which shows the water symbol and will not start. I have cleaned the filter and the condenser unit and emptied the water tank. But no, still the symbol is flashing RED. Do you have any recommendations of what I may check? Before I contact a very expensive technician who most probably will say buy a new on.. Warm regards from Norway, Lene

      Hi Lene,
and thanks 😀. Sounds like an issue around the Water Full indicator or the Reservoir which can have a build up of Lint/Fluff over time especially if the machine has not been maintained regularly. Don't know your skillset Lene but the Sensor is set deep inside of the machine and will require quite a lot of dismantling. Here are a couple of Vidz which may help; ua-cam.com/video/CekGxr7VQXw/v-deo.htmlsi=3WlcEHd7MggGEuaB

Thanks for the video, I just finished stripping and cleaning my own tumble dryer. Loads of dust inside. So it got a good clean.
I replaced the capacitor as sometimes my drum would just stop during a cycle. Hoping that's sorted it out.
Otherwise I'm gonna have to try some other things 😅.
    Thanks!

Thanks for your video, it's been really helpful. I have a very similar dryer, although mine is a heat pump rather than a condenser (I'm not sure what the difference really is but mine doesnt have the heating element at the back for example, just the fan and plastic housing).
My drum has stopped turning, i think it's likely that the motor capacitor has gone but I cannot get the drum out. Do you have any guidance on how to remove the belt please, I'm guessing that needs to come off first? And then i think i may need to get a knife down the back like you've mentioned in a previous comment.
I'm also struggling to get the door lock off the door, the wires don't seem to be removable and i cant seem to push the plastic bit through the machine front to separate them. Im hoping i can leave them connected without damaging any wires when i manage to get the drum out. Thanks!

      Thanks Hannah,
sounds like you have a Heat Pump type of Dryer there's a lot more to them. Hannah you can access the Capacitor via the Fan assembly on some Dryers apparently, I always remove the Drum so I can
Vacuum out all of the Lint.

Great video, thank you for all the tips.
My older but similar machine dries fine but keeps on running. When the timer gets down to 15 min's it stops counting down even when the load is bone dry.
I 'acquired' another which needed a motor cap. Changed that & it works fine now, but does the exact same 15 minute thing!
Both been thoroughly cleaned of visible fluff etc.
Not a major issue but it just means the machine needs to be supervised. (And the O/H worries it'll catch fire!!)

Hi, I've got the condenser tumble dryer whereby it collects the water in the door - however, my machine makes all the right noises but its not collecting water and there's no videos on UA-cam for this issue. Do you know what could be wrong with my tumble dryer? Thanks in advance for your time.

      Hi Angie,
There is a Pump (on the left in 11:01), this could be blocked or malfunctioning as it fits into the Condenser unit which can get blocked with Lint if not maintained correctly.
