Welcome to my Honda Ruckus Build Series! In this series, I will be showing you the entire process of making doing a custom stretched, slammed, GY6 engine swap Ruckus/Zoomer! I'll cover parts needed, installation tips, mod suggestions and more, but most of all, having fun showing you the choices I make to build a super cool custom Ruckus!
In this episode, Ryan and I get the Ruckus ready for the first ride and I take it out to see just how fast it goes!

what about moving the pegs to the front? since you're so tall
+Do It With Dan Would involve drilling into the frame. And I'm not sure it'd be real comfortable for me. Not a fan of the chopper seating position with arms and legs way out in front.
Motonosity different topic sorry how do you get away with the music you use? i would like to do the same but i used some stupid song on one of our videos and of course got in trouble and it wasnt the whole song. i do monetize im not sure if you do or if your paid another way but i just want to be able to use better music. thanks and great job on the build!!
you need to contact the creator of the music or use music that is royalty free, it's available everywhere.

I don't care what anyone else says, the brown/tan seat looks sick, combine that with the classic headlights, it really hits that retro look you were going for. Awesome build and overall awesome job Brent!!

You can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bulls ass, but i'd take the butcher word for it.
Remember this was his first ride . You have other variables if you want top speed such as Jets , roller weights grams , right now he is running 10g sliders for good take off and it's a only 24mm stock GY6 carb. No bad for only the 2nd time starting. The belt has to break in. Valves and rings need to seat. They just wanted to get a first ride in. I think they are doing the BBK today and then tuning. We spend days on tuning a carb and getting the right combo of weights for the rider , adjusting float bowl, changing contra springs. Etc etc .

I think building the Grom would be fun, but I just honestly wouldn't ride it much around here.

I need help in so many ways. I bought a Honda Ruckus 2013 from a man saying that he had to hot wire the moped from a divorce and could not get the keys. Very suspicious. I have a new ignition and gas cap and seat lock. It has been modified and looks awesome. To the point...I had it running but I dropped the hot wire from the ignition wires to the neg term..It fried the electrical mystery. I replaced all fuses and relay switches. I checked the CDI and the rectifier. I checked the stator and everything I could think of. Any Advice?

For a next build you should procharge your jeep. Its basicly a bolt on since the kit is made 100 percent exactly for ur car and you dont need to cut anything. It would awesome to see the extra performance.

deepstopdiving you're right. it could have been, but wouldn't that mean they didn't package it properly to not be damaged during shipping? or the packaging would have been visually damaged on delivery... making me think that they would have mentioned it.

how it only goes about 60 mph? in Finland many people makes their scooters (50cc) go for like 90 kmh which is about 55 mph :P dosent it really go faster than 60 mph :P
ok well it goes faster with those "upgrades" you are gonna do but still 150 cc and goes only bit faster than 50 cc :P

was about to say, i have a 50cc 2stroke, original 50cc and it goes 95kmh top. also had a 50cc 4stroke and that one maxed out at 80kph original.
feels like he should get way more out of his 150cc
I've been following your vids for a while gotta say you have one of the best channels. Ruckus turned out great, good job on overcoming the problems so far. That seat looks freakin amazing and the color combo is on point. Where's Fry? I really like the retro look, the seat really ties it together and the yellow head lamps help add to the effect. personally though I'd prefer silver rims on the tires but the black doesn't look too wrong.
