Man this video makes me think again about how we live so long and yet only get to know so little. Each person shown in this video has a story to tell, each house houses multiple stories. Really makes me sad to know that I can only experience so little of this world, each person has a different story sometimes similar but always different. Thank you for this video

At the beginning of the video I was like "oofff, 21 minutes of video, that's too much" and at the end of the video I was like "Damn, this guy knows how to keep the viewer's attention".
Thanks for this wonderful video and for your style, it's so interesting and the same time it's not hard to understand. I'm also happy for your new sponsor :)
About the lens, well, it's a very good one, it's compact, light, and fit amazing on the A7C. BUT... as you teach us, it's not in your style, this is an amazing lens for travellers and for some photographers but not for you.
You teach us that also cheap lens can gave amazing results IF the photographer knows how to use it and how to compose a picture so yes, sell this lens and keep going with your style

Felt exactly the same some days ago. Just left apsc as it was way underdelivering through my japanese trip in the night. Bought the Sigma 28-70 in Japan as the smallest normal zoom available and got a great deal on an A7IV, which I thought would be too big and heavy, but the grip is great and feels balanced with the lens... Love this new setup.

Oh nice. That frosted glass flower shot is fantastic. This was from the other day when we met at the station, no? I was just getting back from cycling the shimanami kaido. I recommend if you've not tried it yet, but maybe not during the never-ending summer. There are some great little spots for photos throughout, plus it was a fun creative challenge documenting the journey.
I know that they probably would never make something like it, but a 40-135 would be ideal. If they could make it compact/collapsable like the 28-60 and like f4-6.3 I'd be very happy. 😎

Hello ! I'm not surprised that you've fallen in love with these compact and well build lenses. A very great combo with the A7CII !
In my case i've decided to stop using the 24-70 lenses because most of the time it's too short for my usage and also... because i discovered the 35-150 F2-2.8 lenses from TAMRON (Samyang had it too, if you prefer this brand). Don't hesitate if you have the oportunity to try it ! It's maybe heavier than other lenses but its versatility is amazing.

Hey Adrien👋! Thanks a lot for the relaxed video and a lot of nice shots! I bought a used a7cII a couple of weeks ago and I opted for the 24-50 G lens from Sony because personally I rarely use a longer focal length than 50mm … and sometimes it’s just nice to have f2.8😇. I really like the lens for its versatility and not too big size on the a7cII. But your 28-70 looks very promising, too👍.

And though my Sigma g1 has 28mm in its range, its different when you can zoom out and im at my fav focal length. Its also so big and heavy, for video, Id prefer a smaller zoom lens too. But why no love for Tamron? For photography, my Tamron 35-150 is by far my favorite lens, ever. What about the Tamron 28-75 G2? Im interested in that one, also cause the zoom on Sigma is turns in the opposite direction, from Tamron and Sony. Throws me off lol

It's the opposite of the Sigma 28-70 DN in a couple of ways. f/4, sharp at mfd and wide open, 20mm, not very nice bokeh unless at mfd and wide open; vs the Sigma which has rather nice bokeh overall, a softer kind of rendering, especially close up, 28mm and one stop faster.
I like shooting things near mfd (with sharpness where the focus plane is) and after having seldom used the 20/1,8 for other things than closeups I acquired the 20-70/4.
