Lol, my husband HATED It's a Small World, got stuck in it for almost 2 hours when it broke down. Song was stuck in his head until he passed. I liked it as a break from the heat. 😂

For real, best line ever! I don't need to go to some overpriced spot like DW to enjoy great food. As a cast member who works for Disney, this was just hysterical. 😂 I work for Epcot too, so the "Drinking Around the World" comments had me cracking up! 🤣🤣
A Dollywood Gold Season Pass, preferred parking ,a lifetime of Cinnamon bread and a drink cup with a year long refill for less than what it cost to park at Disneyworld.
Pro tip: if you're looking for a ride you can repeat once you get bored or tired of standing in 2+ hour lines, try Pirates of the Caribbean. Mind you, it's been eons since I was at any Disney park, but the last time or two we went I'd take my kid siblings and we'd go default to POTC while everyone else did whatever. The line actually moves, and the ride is long and indoors and thus nice and cool between the line-standing sections.
Love the Dolly commentary! So I’ve been to Disney World a few times. Once when I was 3 and remember nothing. Again when I was around 10 and my dad’s company did a conference there. We got an all-access pass, a three-day stay at The Grand Floridian, and a park-hopper for two days at the parks. That was awesome! Then we went on our own dime when I was 12, 14, and 15 and we realized that if we stayed in a non-resort hotel and only had one meal at the nice theme park restaurants we could do Disney World for about $400 less. But the real break-through came when we realized we could have an entire day at Disney Springs and do everything we did at the parks except the rides. Great restaurants. Great entertainment. All the same shops. The huge gaming center. And the movie theatre that had bowling! Thus it became a tradition to go to Disney Springs for my birthday. Including gas, spending cash, food, and a theater ticket or performance ticket, it typically costs about $700. The most expensive thing is always the meals. And last time we were there (2017) we discovered something else… you are totally allowed to enter a theme park without paying for a ticket if you’re only going to shop. We did this for one of the parks that has a big shopping center just inside the main gate. It was like a big circle of stores. They didn’t stamp our hand or anything. They just told us we would be detained if we tried to enter the second main gate and would be forced to pay for a full-price park ticket for each member of the group. I haven’t been back since before the world went on lockdown. Hoping to go this year. Curious to see if all the perks are the same or if they’ve made more rules.
Went to Disney World several years ago, but it was as part of my high school choir that got selected to sing at the Candlelight festival right around Christmas time. Still had to pay for the trip, but it was a lot of fun to sing alongside the professionals at Epcot, and it was interesting to see a tiny fraction of what goes on behind the scenes. At the end, they gave all of the students special edition Mickey Mouse hats that only the students participating in the Candlelight festival get. It was honestly really fun and a very magical experience. Sorry for the wall of text. This video just got me reminiscing.
Ok do not get me started....Florida native here speaking...we live a few minutes to Disney main gate and laugh all the time when we read real estate listing that say just minutes to main gate and you find the house is about 3 counties away😂😂😂!!! I just do jot get it. Having been one of the first familes to go to Disney World and having many family membrrs work there the dream gloss has worn very very thin. Mr. Walt Disney had a wonderful vision that has now turn this area of Florida into a vast wasteland nightmare. The mouse is dead to me.😮
They didn't specify HOW many minutes. Anything to make the listing sound better. Example: Here where I live: River front property on the Shade River! The Shade River is about 50 feet wide at most and maybe 20 feet deep, but that's only during a flash flood.😂
So I could sell my place with that tagline. There is some land inbetween, and bit of sea or multiple bits... But hey minutes away still. If you count minutes in thousands.
As someone who lived 45 minutes from Six Flags for most of my life and had seasons passes most years, and now live an hour from Disney, I would rather go to Disney. Six flags, it was hit all of the roller coasters and the log flume and leave. Max time in the park was 4 hours. Disney, I will ride 85% of the rides (as long as they don't spin). Normally there 8 hours on a day visit.
I don't remember Missouri being a southern state but when my grandparents to my family to Branson it was apparently so fun that we had to go twice. Tbf, we missed the cave tour the first time around which my brother wanted to see so there's that. I also managed to get alot of fossil Pokemon in Pokemon Go caught and evolved while there too.
About 10 years ago we had the opportunity to take a 4 day vacation at WDW. I had a bit of a panic attack when i heard the price for the hotel and meal plan at one of their "economy" hotels. I think at that time it was more than any of the cars i had purchased in my life. It took a little bit of meditation, lots of deep breathing exercises, hugs and prayers to get me past the shock and it's more now. Dont know if I'll ever go back when i think of the price and what else we can use it for if we could save it up. Love the t-shirt! Go to the Food area just outside of Universal studios, no admission fee and lots of choices if you're just going for food. Chocolate Emporium...yum!
At least they're south-enough to VISIT the place whenever they feel up to it. Kind of like being a New Yorker and not really paying attention to that tall green statue just off the coast.
I’ve only ever been to Disney Land in California. In the 60’s. I have a real problem with the cost, the crowds and the heat, so we have never been. Our daughter went to Alton Towers (the British version) when we were stationed in England. She loved that but now she’s as theme park phobic as I am. Although the one in Japan sounds nice. Matt is so funny but I don’t think I’ll ever go. I’d rather spend the money on a cool trip to somewhere interesting.
Couldn't agree more with the "Most Expensive Day Ever" shirt. At one point it was sort of worth it. These days Disney anything is a colossal waste of money.

Basic annual pass as a Floridian was a godsend. Paid for one day then upgraded and paid like 60 a month afterwards. I lived an hour drive away and would go at least once every two weeks. Pass gives you free parking, food perks, merchandise discounts and free park hopping. All together, at the time it was like 5-600 dollars for the the pass, without the water parks add-on. We had a pool and the beach is like 15min away. Was doing like 30 trips a year for the price of five. Parking alone is like 20-25 bucks without the pass. Then covid happened and I opted out. There was no way I was wearing a mask on top of being temp checked at the gate and possibly kicked out after an hour drive.
Best part about being in line for It's a Small World for an hour is that you only need to do it once. If the line is 5 min the little ones would want to do it five times.
When I was little my dad insisted on going on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The wait pretty much killed the entire night. One ride, fireworks show, go back to relatives' house.
Yeah genie+ is why we never rescheduled our planned 2020 trip to disney. We went to a local park instead for about a 10th of the price... 10 days of holiday world for 4 people including everything $1600. 10 days of disney.... I don't want to know...
When you live in the south but it’s so middle-of-nowhere that you don’t understand half of these references- (the closest cracker barrel is an hour away)
1:14 Well when i went we stayed at the pop century and used the skyliner and went to france at remis ride and worked our way around and by the end of the day we'll pass canada and admire the beauty of the tea garden in Britain ❤
Even if I won the 1.5 billion dollar drawing tonight, I would never go anywhere near a Disney facility. I would rather be staked to the ground, on top of a fire ant colony, in Death Valley, with my privates slathered in honey, than deal with one of those parks.
I absolutely lost it twice... At the "Where do you think they're hiding the dollar general, you know they got one, we're still in Florida... And the neighbors engine block on a lift covered in kudzu being a Pandora floating island.... Sounds like my front yard😂
I’ve been to WDW many times in my life (I’m also a southerner from Tennessee), and I’m still not sure if it’s worth it. I have fun when I go but when it’s over I feel tired with a lot less money.
Holy- "You start at Canada then work around" THIS IS SO TRUE, omfg, please, for the love of god, if traffic in Epcot can all flow one way, A. And B, just start at canada. Only disney rookies go mexico. Source: am a floridian and have been to epcot dozens of times.
I consider myself a Disney Nut, (Disney World is my Graceland, to more sincerely quote Ace Ventura), but I'm actually someone with some sense imo. Why go to Disney World, knowing you won't be spending much time at your hotel and even if you were, (you'd want your hotel to FEEL Disney, instead of just feel luxury)...and still waste more money than you need to staying at Grand Floridian. I've only stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside (Riverside is better imo, but they're both lovely), but it's still far cheaper and fascinating imo than Grand Floridian or Polynesian. The most interesting thing about GF is that the music video for "Kokomo" by Beach Boys was filmed there. Meanwhile, Art of Animation has larger-than-life statues of Disney films, (albeit only 4), and Pop Century likewise has larger-than-life statues of all sorts of retro and vintage items dating back to the 50s, and a few Disney characters. Not to mention, the Port Orleans pair, even with the Bourbon Street vibes of French Quarter, are just so much more relaxing and laissez-fair in terms of people traffic. (I like Riverside more for it being even chiller and relaxing than French Quarter; plus the Magnolia Bend and Alligator Bayou buildings look better). Edit: NOW...if you actually want to spend money at one of the higher end hotels, (Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge), even if the Disney vibes aren't as strong, that's all well and good. Just make sure your trip INCLUDES spending a good amount of time at your hotel, otherwise...again...what's the point of burning your wallet like that?
I had to wait ten years (or maybe twenty) to ride “It’s a Small World.” Technically, not kidding. I was, obviously, not in line for ten years, but the ride was closed (repairs?) when we went ( to Disneyland, not Disney World) the first time. We went (to Disneyland, again) the next time ten years. Actually, I think it might have been closed then, too, because ten years after that I finally went to Disney World and I remember really wanting to go on “It’s a Small World” and I think that’s because I had never actually been on it before. Not worth waiting twenty years. Probably would have been fun when I was six (how old I was for the first trip).
as a wee one, sure. As an adult, by the time you get out of the boat-car one is generally ready to run trying to escape the drone of the tune IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL playing over and over the whole 5 minute trip and while one waits in line. I and probably many others laud the fact you've missed this misery on the planet, no loss!!
Subscribe or ride It's a Small World once

When I was little my dad insisted on going on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The wait pretty much killed the entire night. One ride, fireworks show, go back to relatives' house.
There's gotta be a Dollar General in here!!!!! Priceless!!!!
That punch on the overpriced drink cup had some hate behind it! LMAO
"You don't even wanna know how much this cost!" Punches it, rips off the head. You bought though didn't you? Good old Disney product placements.
Looked like Marty Moose from National Lampoon's Vacation film.
Yeah genie+ is why we never rescheduled our planned 2020 trip to disney. We went to a local park instead for about a 10th of the price... 10 days of holiday world for 4 people including everything $1600. 10 days of disney.... I don't want to know...
When you live in the south but it’s so middle-of-nowhere that you don’t understand half of these references-
(the closest cracker barrel is an hour away)
That is EXACTLY WHY I cancelled my reservation at Woody’s Roundup BBQ. 🤣🤣
" most expensive day ever " hilarious 🤣
One Dollar and 4 empty coke cans. LOL. That is right though. Really enjoy your skits.
2:56 😂😂 sad part is that they will make you *_pay_* to "draw that line" as well. Talk about nickle and diming 💰💰💰😅😅😅
The candy throwing. In my town they want to nail you between the eyes with the candy. They practice.
The punch at the end was perfect
1:14
Well when i went we stayed at the pop century and used the skyliner and went to france at remis ride and worked our way around and by the end of the day we'll pass canada and admire the beauty of the tea garden in Britain ❤
Even if I won the 1.5 billion dollar drawing tonight, I would never go anywhere near a Disney facility. I would rather be staked to the ground, on top of a fire ant colony, in Death Valley, with my privates slathered in honey, than deal with one of those parks.
Same.
I am impressed with your Disney knowledge
Love the Most Expensive Day Ever shirt!
As a boy I just enjoyed Disney, as a man I understand how excruciatingly painful it is just to exist there.
Was on the “It’s A Small World” ride at the NY World’s Fair in 1964. Other than the Disney store at the local mall, that’s it for me😂
lol on that “seized ford mustang.” Our town has a 4 cylinder! Guess drug dealers don’t get the pay they used to.
"I know they gaaat one!"
"I have to paaay for Genie+?"
I absolutely lost it twice... At the "Where do you think they're hiding the dollar general, you know they got one, we're still in Florida... And the neighbors engine block on a lift covered in kudzu being a Pandora floating island.... Sounds like my front yard😂
When you turned that Auburn hat around 😂😂😂😂
I’ve been to WDW many times in my life (I’m also a southerner from Tennessee), and I’m still not sure if it’s worth it. I have fun when I go but when it’s over I feel tired with a lot less money.
Seized Ford Mustang! Brilliant!
Loved the Auburn vs Alabama rivalry representation! 😂😂😂 I don’t care either way. I'm a almost nonexistent Arkansas Razorback fan... Woo Pig Sooie! 🐗
🙋🏼♀️Former Magic Kingdom Cast Member here. The tunnels are a thing and you can actually go inside on the “Keys to the Kingdom” tour.
I remember when Fastpass or Disney Genie or whatever they call it now was free 😅
I remember when they first rolled it out and you had to insert your ticket to get a “return time” slip.
@@amandasouth4752 yes! I remember that too!
According to Google Maps, the closest Dollar General from Disney World is 9.8 miles away by car.
As a southerner who recently went to Disney World. Accurate.
The punch and the head comes off is priceless!
I never thought about the fact that it's in Florida. That place must be so overheated! Gord, I'd hate to go.
love the punch.
Worked there for 20 years, left, and never set foot on the property again!
Abigail Disney is my heroine, now you are too!
1:50 - the good news is that you had over an hour before you heard the song from It's A Small World.
"Sounds like a lot of drinking but we are LSU fans" 😂😂😂
"Skippin' Dumbo"😂😂😂 I felt that! WAR EAGLE!!
My wife would like to know if Sven is ok after taking that sucker punch at the end? 😁
little secret the mascots are basically packed into those costumes using ice packs
Using ice PICKS. Gotta jam em in somehow.
1:58 Which is why Eeyore is only out 15-20 minutes at a time in the summertime. Having Eeyore pass out in front of everyone isn't a good look.
I am speechless
You do great work
"Pay to use the interstate." Welcome to Florida...specifically Orlando.
You should do a skit of a southern fairy godmother (godbrother? Godfather?) for a northern person
I have never met a southerner wealthy enough to afford Disney World. I don't move in those circles.
"we are LSU fans" 🤣🤣🤣
So Disney is basic training for when school.starts ??.HAHA !!.😂
That sounds like a lot of drinking, but we’re LSU fans.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely hilarious video!!
Yes, the tunnels are real. They're all over Magic Kingdom and a much smaller network under Future World at Epcot
I choked at the dumbo thing... but also, roll tide bruh
Disney Vacation Club!!! Bwahahaha we belong!!!
🤣🤣 great sense of humor you!
At least Dolly won't have me sacrifice the blood of my first born dog to go to Dollywood.
I know that "sounds" like a lot of drinking. Spoken like a true Louisiana native.
I had to wait ten years (or maybe twenty) to ride “It’s a Small World.”
Technically, not kidding.
I would have said "I aint eating bbq unless there cooking woody"
As a Floridian, I agree with that comment about Florida 😅
You'd think Disney would consider they'd make more money overall if everyone could afford to go, not just the upper-middle class and above.
Nah, they don't care.
