Pod carrier.. It's basically a flat bed truck but specialist 'pods or containers' can be winched on to the back carrying anything from extra BA to chemical protection to specialist cutting gear
What is he doing? Blocking an emergency vehicle from responding to a life threatening emergency by refusing to pull over, and driving down a road that had been closed for obvious reasons
@@dragonemergencyvideos To be fair, he did pull over, in fact he pulled into a different road. He was trying not to run over the hose, it seems, which was more than the engine behind him did, if you look closely! If the road was closed how did he get onto it in the first place? Plus, if the fire officer in the white car had chosen literally any other spot to park other than the single point where the road narrows, maybe he could have pulled over instead!
@@MJ100man Your right about the bad parking of the golf (btw its a Doctor's car), but the zafira shouldn't have been there, he snuck through between the fire trucks
@@dragonemergencyvideos well to be honest the placement of the hose bridges / wedges is pretty poor. Proper placement would have made things a bit easier, probably it was moved by vehicles driving over it. Apart from that I think the driver did the right thing ... there are multiple videos out there of vehicles driving over fire hoses and ripping them apart, so he tried the best to drive over the hose bridge
Surprised to see all the water tankers. I would have expected a well-developed light industrial area, as this appears to be, would be well supplied with water from the underground mains. A failure of area planning? An unexpected fault? Or perhaps just hard to get water on one side of the building?
Ok, so as someone from the US who isn't familiar with some of these pieces of apparatus, what's the difference in a "Water Tanker" and a "Water Bowser"? The latter I've only heard in reference to Super Mario
Both mean exactly the same thing - They are officially called Water Bowsers in the South Wales Fire Service, Tanker is just a more commonly used word so I included that. There is no difference, it is just a huge tank of water.

The hoses from the pumps were already using all the hydrants, and anyway, the volume of water the tankers need is higher than from hydrants
