i was having a power trip about my metabolism 2/3 through a box of great grains blueberry. turned out to be really hard to finish and realized there were oat clusters too late. it was an oatverdose.
These guys, King Gizzard, & Squid are my "Go To" bands when I want to express what the utter Rage feels like inside my head from a 62 year lifetime as a High Functioning Autist existing in a society of "Normies". I have yet to see Oh Sees live - one of these days. Thank You All !!!!!
Last time I saw these guys was in Minneapolis. Their previous show was in Vancouver and across the street there was a god damn (ch)ump rally! The streets were filled with protesters, highways were shut down for the motorcade, chaos everywhere you looked! The band had to do sound check in front of the audience, they were all exhausted, tempers were flaring, parts of a drum kit were tipping over! They were on the verge of a meltdown!! Just as they were about to begin the show John says to us, “What a fucking day!!”, then they brought it as only the Oh Sees can. Witnessing this I saw what a truly professional band looks like!
I was there, great show. I remember John saying something like "turn it up so they can hear us outside"

Looks like the same set list at the sydney show. Like someone else said. This is by far the best and I was super lucky to see it live. Best gig i have ever been to.

I'm anxious to see them as I will travel to Switzerland for the show in August but the tickets aren't on sale yet and it's driving me nuts!
