You probably dont care at all but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
Hi, I am trying to follow the tutorial but I cant find the RD on Ahrefs or in the downloaded google sheets report, is it because the site has been updated, and if so where do i go now?
Couple of things. 1. Our search traffic are estimations (normally underestimations). 2. Your Google Analytics reports are likely showing traffic from other sources too which would include referral, social, direct, ads etc. For a better comparison, look at your organic search traffic only. 3. Make sure to select "all countries" from the dropdown in the Top Pages report for a better comparison :)
such a gold nugget! Question... i pulled up a report and a competitor is only ranking for 1 to 3 keywords on any given post, that seems unnaturally low! Is there a strategy behind this?
That seems strange. Is this with no filters? If you set filters (ex. max position of 5), then it will only show the keywords that fit your criteria. You can always cross reference by clicking on the caret and going to the overview page for the page. Let me know if that helps.
Mr.Sam, Could you just make an epic Seo Video, based on (Link Building) from a fellow competitors Website, "LIVE", So that, Researchers like me need not roam from heather to the other ?
So, how do I actually see the keywords. When I'm in organic competitors, it shows me the top 5 competitors and a row for - common keywords, competitors keywords, and it has a number, but when I click on that number to see what words they are, it goes to site explorer.
When you click on the number of keywords in the Organic Competitors you are taken to a Content Gap report where you can see all the keywords a target competitor is ranking but your website is not. If you need some more detail - you can ask our support @ahrefs.com for some screenshots 🙏 -Helen
I tried this method. I have found the top pages of my competitors. I have invested 5 months of my time and money and I beat my competitors with links and long blogposts. GUESS WHAT: in Ahrefs my main competitor had over 15000 traffic from 1 page (5 moths ago). I'm on position 2 (he is on position 5 now) in the first page an traffic it's almost zero/day (it's a branded keyword). The same for another page, where I get around 70-80.000 impressions per day. Second position. Traffic: 50-100/day. I DON'T UNDERSTAND...
It's tough to say without knowing the search query you rank for. If I understand correctly, you mentioned it's a branded keyword, so I'm guessing it's someone else's brand? If that's the case, then there may be a chance that your page does not fit the searcher's intent. For example, if your top keyword is "bank of america login", then the chance of getting people to click through will likely be very few. Someone searching for that query wants to go directly to BOA's website. Another thing to consider is that they may have been getting more traffic because they rank for more keywords than you. So it could very well be that the keywords driving them traffic are different than the one you targeted. There are so many variables and without knowing and studying what you had done, it's tough to say "why."
The keyword was "Stanleybet", a betting house. My competitor is "pariurix.com", so it was not the brand and still have 15000 traffic/month. Probably the title was not good enough and probably his CTR is better. Now I see that is again above me... So, I think even if we build a lot of links and land on a first page, if you don't have a brand or a great title to attract people to click...
Seriously you've just nailed it. Best competitor analysis tutorial ever, love to see your tutorial to enhance the knowledge.

This is the best way to find Topics which do not need Refferring Domains to Rank.
Thanks Ahref...!

Ive never seen a good explanation about AHREFs like this. Soo much info we can get, and competition can get also from us, of course.

We don't show the RD column in Top pager report but you can click on an arrow next to each page URL to see the Referring domains info and more.

Referring Domain not showing in nov 2021
Is it possible to add these tons of keywords in a single blog post. ? nice teachings btw )
It's better not to spam your post with keywords. Much better to make it sound natural and readable.

Amazing bro! Thx

where is the RD in 2022?
Our interface has changed since then. But you can click on a drop-down arrow next to each URL to the referring domains.
-Helen
@@AhrefsCom When I pull lists though I want the RD data in the excel sheet as well to know how many links competitors have, is that possible or?
U just go to ahrefs top pages and that's it. This video can be 1 minute lol
Sure, but not everyone knows how to use it well. 🙂
