  • Western Christians don't pray enough. Ken teaches from 2 Samuel 5, and shares keys to breakthrough. Ba'al Perazim is one of the names of God - it means the God of Multiple Breakthroughs. He doesn't just give us one breakthrough - He gives us one and another and another and another... We must become accustomed to inquiring of the Lord, waiting on Him and praying unto breakthrough.

Breakthrough has to do , that we have done, what HE had said to us before. That's what I have understand.

I watch a lot of videos from Ken. Always a lot of amazing stuff I learn. In this video, I have to say it was a bit awkward when Ken rebuked the woman who gave an answer out loud to something he said. I wonder if there's a way to handle a situation like that in a strategic way where the woman and others get the idea they shouldn't shout out an answer, but where the person doesn't feel she got publicly rebuked and almost shamed.

I felt the same discomfort and hoped that the two were not at odds, & were reconciled. But it did bother me; both that he was interrupted, and then that he came down hard on her.

@@timalexwar For the record, I think very highly of Ken. I think he's uniquely qualified for the role he plays in bringing people from many different sections of the church together, teaching and demonstrating the kingdom in a way that feels both true to the "winds of the Spirit" and intellectually honest and credible with high regard for integrity and fidelity to scripture.
I just wanted to highlight a my perception about how that interaction came across as just a casual viewer. It's possible there's more backstory which gives fuller context as you mention.

I’m glad he did it. People doing that is a distraction and even deceiving when they try to anticipate the next word the speaker is going to say but they are wrong. Ken pastored it well the interrupter is the one causing the discomfort.

Ken is a "matter-of-fact" kind of guy. I didn't take it as a rebuke or reprimand. Just a request.
