Is why you see the wheel sometimes cheats you now on some servers. otherwise people can just play the numbers and win over time. you can make like 10's of thousands. not a cheat, but it is questionable on a populated server.

It would be cool a "lottery shop" too. You sell tickets for a door 1 to 5. In one there is good loot, in one bad loot, in one a car, in two turrets that kills who open... You get the gist, it's a gamble, honestly offered to customers.

At 1:06:09 it was actually better where the engine module was before, because if it's in the front it absorbs more damage from crashing into things or getting shot, which brings the car to a halt. It's better if the armored cockpit is in front since it's much tankier than the engine. It's also better for driver visibility imo.

36:35 Each foundation adds a multiplyer to the overall upkeep cost (I think its like 15%) so if you add 4 extra foundations with nothing on them to an existing base it would increase the price by 60% (based of a guess) along with the extra walls and floors you would need for the 2x2.
if you hover over the "cost per 24 hours" writing in the TC inventory it shows you how upkeep is calculated, just as an example here a base with 34 building blocks upkeep will cost 12.8% of what it cost to build that base, a base with 540 building blocks will be 27.9% of what it cost to build it, foundations, wall, ceiling, roofs, everything that you build with a building plan will increase the required upkeep, it is nowhere near 15% per foundation, that would make even small to medium sized bases cost 10s of thousands for upkeep
whenever i do a car dealership in rust i usually do something similar except all my cars are sold with the same base model layout "just a small engine module that runs" than i put a mod shop next door, where theres a lift and i sell all the parts, fuel and modules in vending machines in the mod shop and have a machine that buys back the base module, that way each customer can modify the car to their liking, be it a camper, taxi or water truck
You could make it truly automated by having a door controller hooked up to a storage monitor on the vending machine. Maybe use storage monitor to a timer that would keep the door open for 20 seconds or so and then have a button attached to an OR switch that would allow them to open the door from the inside if they get stuck.
To automate a door before putting a lock. Put down a door switch, to a laser sensor in a good spot. Power everything and when you disrupt the laser the door will open on cue. I use it alot for driving vehicles in and out of my garages.

should have left the engine in the middle of that camper vehicle it gives the armored cockpit better protection if the camper part get destroyed. then you can still drive off in it without getting killed. it would look extremely weird but it will still work
you should have put a box in the car garage that is hooked to your other base so all you have to do is dump/leave a gear set in the car base and go out to ur other base BN and then just watch the stuff/ all metal u farmed cook and any gear u dumped in the drop box in car base gets sorted into ur main base then u would have no door campers trying to get loot if u had a turret in the car base as well on say peace keeper anyway love your Videos keep up the Great Content!

Just an idea: Make a trap for door campers. Place a Hidden CCTV Camera outside the trap base to check if there is anyone. If there is act like you are giving the door code to a friend on the discord or something like that and act like you have not muted yourself in the game and when he tries the code and enters the base trap him with a pressure plate or something idk. Note: I don't play rust i just love the base building parts its so relaxing.

You do take a down position of say a ridge and shoot through grass and shrubs, maybe even guessing at where the target will be. That's all completely fair and actually shows that you are very experience 1:1.

18:10 this describes all of Rust PVP. Rust PVP is a lot more luck based than skilled based because the TTK is so low and if you see someone first or hear someone first you usually get the kill unless there is a massive gear difference.
I believe the guy that was cheking the car shop and then raided the house on the top, he thought that the house on the top was your main, and about the last group, probably he was on it to, and cause he lost for a solo, he brought the hole group for revenge, but is just my opinion :p I used to have 4 guys I played with a lot, back when oil rig was not even a thing and I could play the game. That used to happen a lot, one of the guys go raid something, like 'hey I'll be right back, there is a solo and I belive he is loaded' so he went for a quick fast raid, but when things went sideways, we all went to take it back and destroy everything, but normamly we just wanted sulfer, explosives, ammo and metal sets. everything else we left there, and no griefing. Unless if it was like a big squad like us, and we wanted them to start over.
"I don't want to sell a car that will get you killed" already more honest than the IRL dealership we bought our family car from. Brake lines rusted through and blew less than a year after we bought it, gas tank rotted out and they wouldn't source one for us, ended up having to take it to a different garage and the moment we did that they said it was all out of their hands. Better Business Bureau is useless and didn't help, it's all automated and when I finally got a real human, she couldn't help either. All we could do was write bad reviews and warn everyone.
Dude could have bought the camper first THEN farm for a base… much easier to get 5k or 9k wood or w/e than farming for a whole base… lol Really liked the note idea for selling the cars! 200iq there!

No wheel in unmodded Outpost, and the wheel was fixed in the June update (although this video was likely recorded before then)

The camper module has a "locker" if you look up at the cabinet area when in the camper portion.
This worked out loads better than the previous dealership. Not that the last was bad or anything but this one was super fun to watch

If you want the animals to deagro you jump either onto a foundation, against a base wall or off high ground (using a scrap loot pile or node)
