The effort which was put onto this gorgeous project cannot be ignored and MUST be rated enough as it deserves and in my opinion it deserves a lot attention! Got to say that I really love these absolutely interesting type of scenarios which are mosly focusing on events that occured in late 20th century or Cold War, as this is also my favorite type of historical period + the era of 1980s and 1990s. (perhaps the good old VHS camera effect and military footage and some nice retro vibe makes it even more stunning) I really enjoyed the music, in fact music is what probably made this video to stand out! I also enjoyed the details of casualities. That's just amazing! Thank you for being one of the *best* Mappers out there in the community and gifting us these presents, I pay big respect and love every single content that this channel has. Thank you!

I think he could have won it if he stopped at the Volga and fortified it there. Logistically, I think the invasion of Turkestan is what caused his downfall. Overall this was very nice to watch!

This was hands down an incredible video. I think the reasons why the Central Powers lost are: 1. Invading Turkestan. It was easy for Russia to cut them off. 2. All their strategic allies joined the war too late. 3. Invading Scandinavia was a waste of soldiers and materials. Plus, that's 3 less capitalist countries in Europe now. That's just my opinion.
For the third, my headcanon is that Germany was almost done making a nuclear bomb. It knew it couldn’t take on the Internationale to get territory back, but it could steal other territory to prepare for a stalemate.

I want to thank you for making such great content, and pouring your heart out into your work. This style of work is better than the biggest 'mapping' channel, Bace Bulgarian. What really makes your videos stand out is the attention to detail, the realistic planning involved, and the logic behind every front movement. For example, I would assume that the high command in the Deutsches Heer would had decided to invade Central Asia to isolate the Caucasus' oil supply and to obtain Kazakh and Uzbek oil, coal, and natural gas. I also really love the attention given to the music, clips of speeches, etc. Overall, what I rate when deciding which mappers are great includes all of the above, and the dedication to your fanbase. Good work. A well made ambiance with an interesting campaign. The world itself could appear unrealistic at some points, but allow for good geopolitical rivalry (the two sides, wich are literally two separated world with different political and economical system) and an overall interesting uchronia. The similarities with our timeline (german blitzkrieg with soviet counter-attack, spanish civil war and even military intervention in Iran) are nice when you consider this kind of universe. I am personally satisfied with how the war goes on and conclude (in Europe at least). The soviet victory is somehow hearth-warming when you consider how brutal and imperialistic the german regime was depicted in the Deutsches Weltreich video. The invasion of Turkestan could appear weird at first, but at some points, we could say that the german army was facing dangerous attrition, and forced to go in Central Asia in search of oil and gas for her mechanised forces. A post-war video focusing on the peace treatie(s), the remade frontiers and the new political system and problematic induced by this turn of event could be very cool (what became the exiled Reich in Australasia?). For now, I'm waiting to see the American and especially Asian front. Will the various chinese factions unite to tear down the german and japanese imperialists? Will the Japanese secure there empire for good? What about the soviet-japanese eastern front and the Deutsch Indien?

this is honestly one of the best alternate histories i have ever seen in my lifetime, possibly better than kaiserreich, and possibly better than the new order as well. I know it's been a year, but i just think it is very interesting to see how it would have been so different.

What's funny in the battle of Turkestan the German forces didn't even come close to major cities. Turkestan and Tashkent were very far away, Samarkand and Bukhara were the same. The only major city they've got slower in Khiva.
The Germans expected by invading Central Asia, that the Soviets are going to move their defensive troops from the Volga and Novgorod front into Turkestan. The Soviets actually did not resist, and waited the German & CP troops to move on. The Soviets decided to attack, when the German troops were ready to totally block the Soviets from exporting oil from Baku into the mainland through the Caspian sea. So, it was tactical for the Germans to invade Turkestan due to the oil route from Caucasus, Caspian sea and via Turkestan into factories in Russia and China. Also, sooner or later, the Soviets would have had attack first, from the Caucasus and Volga, of course with a much more slower speed, but still do it. The both sides had to decide what to do fast, otherwise the Eastern front would have had become trench warfare, and fronts not moving anywhere for years. If the Germans successfully invaded Turkestan, they would have won.
I may have disliked it because of the way the world was in that timeline, but still it was an unconventional and an insane video because of all the effort, sacrifice and pain just to finish this masterpiece!!!!!! Only made the Imperial Front lose so you can make more videos based on this timeline, many of the moves don't make sense at all (invasion of turkestan) + the Soviets would stand almost no chance against the IF. An alliance that almost controls the whole world can't lose against a power of like 5 countries. Nice video tho and appreciate the work you had put in it.
It can when you consider how arsh and brutal was depicted the German Weltreich in the other video (a puppet parliament with no powers, slavery in Africa, imperialistic occupation in every corner of the Earth, etc). We could think at first that a world superpower is unbreakable, having an enormous industrial capacity and manpower. But simply considering economical strenght and military power is what we could call "The HOI4 syndrom", because you forget the moral of the population, ideological factors such as nationalism, socialism, economical and social situation of the countries (what economy? Is the power egalitarian/with inequality? At what degree?) and cultural issues. But yes, Turkestan campaign look unrealistic at some points.

I highly doubt the German people would be too keen on the war as it was a war of aggression, whilst I'm pretty sure that the Russians, British and French would be all-in on the war as they'd perceive it as a war of survival. Much easier to persuade your people to fight for their nation's continued existence than to fight for ideology.
Well Germany also probably had to deal with Communist Partizans in colonies too and Soviets in Asia, not to mention American front too against American Syndies which stretched their forces too thin in Europe. When primary force was encircled and destroyed in Eastern Kazakhstan, they were done.
I think Germany's cause of losing was because they were too cocky believing they would win and thus, because of being cocky, they lost. If they weren't so cocky and were concentrating, they would had won.
Was very well done, but about some territories I don't think that would be given, like in case of Russia(USSR) that conquered Caucasus, they would let Georgia keep South Ossetia, but wouldn't let Azerbaijan to keep like half of Dagestan, also Hungary would've been smaller, because is an alternative scenario, then it has some degree of unrealism, but over all was very good:)!!!
Great effort tbh, but i seriously doubt the central powers would have lost after france and italy fell, and just look that it's just the sovies fighting against germany, ottomans, the eastern european puppets, it just doesnt make any realistic sense to let the central powers loose this one. but still great effort put into this video.

So, it was tactical for the Germans to invade Turkestan due to the oil route from Caucasus, Caspian sea and via Turkestan into factories in Russia and China.
Also, sooner or later, the Soviets would have had attack first, from the Caucasus and Volga, of course with a much more slower speed, but still do it.
The both sides had to decide what to do fast, otherwise the Eastern front would have had become trench warfare, and fronts not moving anywhere for years.
If the Germans successfully invaded Turkestan, they would have won.
I may have disliked it because of the way the world was in that timeline, but still it was an unconventional and an insane video because of all the effort, sacrifice and pain just to finish this masterpiece!!!!!! I would say that it was an incredible and a unique video.... i also liked the texture of the map. Hope it gets viral and great job!!!!!!!!!!!

Great video. Absolutely amazing work, it's clear that you have a passion for geography and history. How many hours did it take to research and produce this video?
Only made the Imperial Front lose so you can make more videos based on this timeline, many of the moves don't make sense at all (invasion of turkestan) + the Soviets would stand almost no chance against the IF. An alliance that almost controls the whole world can't lose against a power of like 5 countries. Nice video tho and appreciate the work you had put in it.
It can when you consider how arsh and brutal was depicted the German Weltreich in the other video (a puppet parliament with no powers, slavery in Africa, imperialistic occupation in every corner of the Earth, etc). We could think at first that a world superpower is unbreakable, having an enormous industrial capacity and manpower. But simply considering economical strenght and military power is what we could call "The HOI4 syndrom", because you forget the moral of the population, ideological factors such as nationalism, socialism, economical and social situation of the countries (what economy? Is the power egalitarian/with inequality? At what degree?) and cultural issues.
But yes, Turkestan campaign look unrealistic at some points.

I highly doubt the German people would be too keen on the war as it was a war of aggression, whilst I'm pretty sure that the Russians, British and French would be all-in on the war as they'd perceive it as a war of survival. Much easier to persuade your people to fight for their nation's continued existence than to fight for ideology.

Well Germany also probably had to deal with Communist Partizans in colonies too and Soviets in Asia, not to mention American front too against American Syndies which stretched their forces too thin in Europe. When primary force was encircled and destroyed in Eastern Kazakhstan, they were done.

I think Germany's cause of losing was because they were too cocky believing they would win and thus, because of being cocky, they lost. If they weren't so cocky and were concentrating, they would had won.

Was very well done, but about some territories I don't think that would be given, like in case of Russia(USSR) that conquered Caucasus, they would let Georgia keep South Ossetia, but wouldn't let Azerbaijan to keep like half of Dagestan, also Hungary would've been smaller, because is an alternative scenario, then it has some degree of unrealism, but over all was very good:)!!!
I guess Russia saw our time and knew it was a bad idea letting Georgia keep South Ossetia so they decided to annex it to Russian SFSR.

Great effort tbh, but i seriously doubt the central powers would have lost after france and italy fell, and just look that it's just the sovies fighting against germany, ottomans, the eastern european puppets, it just doesnt make any realistic sense to let the central powers loose this one.
