Hello, I really liked this video. I followed along all the way to the end and created a speedometer. However, @ 11:36 you say to go to Visual Basics application and copy the code. In 2022, the version of excel that I have does not have that Icon and I can't find anything similar. So, I did all this work and can't get the meter to work. I also clicked on the link you have in the description and can't find the files there either. Any help would be great.
All Excel versions have that icon. But the 'Developer' tab is always hidden automatically. You need to go to options, Ribbon and tick the Developer option so it will show. Alternatively you can just press Alt+F11 to load the VBA code. You also need to make sure you save the file is saved as .xlsm (macro-enabled) for it to work . Hope this helps 👍
Very good job thanks for share your idea with us. Sir how to show two different data in one speedometer . zero to 100 % in left and zero to 100 % in right side in single speedometer please make a video on this topic...
Hi I re-created your speedometer and wrote the VBA code you shared, thank you. How do I reference the performance cell to a specific cell and that it would still animate the chart. The reason being is I linked the performance cell to a specific cell but the pointer stopped moving. The only time it moved is when I entered the value directly on cell E1.
Thanks for watching! You need to give the reference of performance cell as input for Macro and macro will gradually increase the value from 0 to given value in the cell where you have created the Needle (Pie Chart). So here, we have two cell. One is input for Macro and second is output (on which you have created the Chart). Please check and reply with references, if it doesn't work. I will send you the updated chart with required comments.
I've recreated the Speedometer and it works great, but after inputting a percentage into cell E1 (performance) the spreadsheet requires me to got out of the cell and click back in it to update cell E2 (Performance1). In your spreadsheet all I have to do is update E1 and hit enter and it auto calculates E2 without having to click back into E1. I have auto calculate turned on and verified the Macro code but can't find the issue. Any ideas?
Hi thank you for the tutorial it was great. I got it to work on my dashboard however, this so can only animate 1 Speedo Graph, my issue is that i have mulitple Speedo graphs on 1 worksheet. how can make it so that it animates multiple graphs at the same time? Thank you in advance
Thanks for watching and your appreciation! Please watch this tutorial where animation has been applied on several condition. ua-cam.com/video/Xv7_o0Y2JPI/v-deo.html You can use the same code after making some amendments. Please let me know, it it doesn't work so that I can upload or share VBA code for you. Thanks!
@@thedatalabs Hi, I've had a look at the video on the link you provided, again a great tutorial which no doubt i will use for another project, however i struggle to grasp where the code applies to multiple graphs. Can you provide a code specifically for the speedo grah example where there are multiple graphs in 1 sheet? thanks Edit: email sent
I know im randomly asking but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any tips you can give me.
@Caspian Robert Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Why did you make a separate pie chart? you could have added a 2nd series to the existing chart and made it a pie. I don't see the reason for the animation, who's going to see it? only you when you enter the data, how often do you enter data during a presentation?
Good Tutorial, However I doubt his knowledge. It seems like he is reading out the steps and performing. Which is why he did not explain the values he used to create pie chart.
Very Nice Bro
thanx for sharing

Greetings,
Thanks for tutorial.
what you did in cells E2, E3 & E4 was not mentioned, despite its significance. All we hear is music..

I guess you didn't add "=" The formula in the E2 cell will be (=E1)
I copied the code from Visual Basic and changed for the applicable cells and the animation didnt work. Can you assist?

Hello, can you please create a Dashboard from the scratches ..
How do I get this into a word document?
I'm trying to do this in Excel 2007 but it seems to be impossible
The needle doesn't always match up with the appropriate percentage. This can be seen in your video when you type in 59% and the needle falls on 69%.
After seeing your comment, I realised that right at the start when it is at 89%, it looks like it is on 99%. So unfortunately it is pretty useless.
Change the angle of slice to 261 degrees
Hi
Im unable to see the code in VB. Can you help
Sure, just open the file from the link available in description box and press F11 after opening it. It will open the VBE window.
@@thedatalabs Thanks!. Its working fine
