Such a powerful message, love the quote “healing lies through the valley not around it.” Thank you John for leading us through Dallas’ book in such a deep way.
The A**hole part of my personality resented this teaching very much, but the rest of me trying to change into a better Jesus follower will accept this challenge to improve.
Inconvenient truth…..so succinct and powerful. Thank you - again and again. I’m going to check to be sure the bulbs in my idiot lights are functioning.
So true that modernism has redacted from our polite language of the kind of strong words that properly describe sin. Even in churches. When did I last sing Rock of Ages, with its lyric "Foul, I to the fountain fly. Wash me, Savior, or I die!"
Thank you John and those you work with to bring this message to us. What I struggle with sometimes (yeah, we'll go with sometimes) is that I say I want to forgive somebody because the Bible says we should but deep down I do not want to. First John 4:8 says that whoever doesn't love doesn't know God. Always before i saw that as not being saved but now I wonder if it's also means not truly knowing how God loves.
Thank you for this, John.

This was probably the most powerful concept in the book for me. This was a great way to dig into the topic even further. Thanks, John!
This is so refreshingly right. Thank you.

"Surrender. Let God pierce the denial that is within us." ♥ Amen.
