Wow. On the one hand the principal tells the students to think critically and independently, but on the other hand urges them not to be concerned about what is happening around them in society. That's fucking ironic.
When society has successfully blurred the moral line, how can inexperienced students think critically and independently? They do this not to hide them, but to stem the tide of chaos; think about what is happening within your school first, before moving onto the bigger stage of the city, of the world. It is also a good way for everyone to destress from such a messy time; everyone on all sides is exhausted. When you have crazed students running around declaring this and that about society without understanding anything about society, that is not critical thinking; that's just naivety.

As a HK citizen, i don't understand why HK people are always against Chinese government or chinese people or all sort of things related to Chinese even though they've never been to China. I fully support HK police as they are really protecting people. Adversely, those rioters just attacked people who held opposite opinion from them. It's shameful.

炎黄子孙 Release is not equal no need on court. The law will do the following job. Also, many of them had been beaten by cops in that few days in jail. And lawyer said they had difficulty to get in touch to those guys. This already breaks the hk law which the hk police should follow. This is not acceptable so that I insist an independent inquiry is needed. That will clean up the judge on hk police if they’re right.
Even the rioters set fire to subway exit, block the roads, beat police and citizens who against the rioters, also leak their personal info, ruin the public properties, and more. The law is on their side becoz the rioters will pretend as victims and cover by their ringleaders and biased media. Hk law? So what!
@@wanlingwong3809 As a comparison, during the Occupy Wall Street, where much much less violence occurs, around 700 protestors were arrested simply because they refused to only protest on the walkway. No policemen were hurt. The policemen bullied those arrested protestors in broad daylight. How about free the US first and then back to Hong Kong?
