Hi, I actually just received the Saint Laurent Toy Loulou in black hardware, this is my first piece from Saint Laurent but I have question, I noticed that the back zip is not smooth to open and close, is that normal? I am still quite worried about the chipping though, hope I won’t have that issue. Do you find Saint Laurent pieces durable?
Kathy Cruz Hey 🤗 omg I know the zippers are not the smoothest trust me if you watch my Louis Vuitton videos I swear by their zippers are so smooth! Louis Vuitton makes the best zippers lol! I wouldn’t worry too much about the chipping I haven’t had any issues with my pieces I own and again the zipper quality is normal it is totally not smooth at all unfortunately 😭

I’m so glad to help ☺️ I honestly switch out my bags often I feel like that’s a good way to not over use the bag and if you feel like your going to be too scared to use it I would say get a different hardware I believe they have silver and of course the gold one I have which I’ve had 0 issues with so I definitely love the bag it’s worth every penny! I’ve had my black on black YSL items for a few years now but I haven’t noticed wear on the black like that. 💕
Makeuplovedevina you have a point there, the Toy is definitely a bag that you need to be compact. One last thing and I apologize for asking too many questions, but I want to be sure with my purchase since it’s a hefty price. What do you think about the handles on the strap, does it feel cheap because it seems flimsy? Or they all like that? I don’t have a luxury store close by so I rely on online reviews. Sorry.

I love my toy Lou Lou for the strap it’s not to big and bulky it’s not flimsy is my opinion I really like it I basically use mine everyday and I’ve had zero problems with it. YSL is an amazing brand all of their straps on different bags are light weight and not too heavy I personally enjoy that. If it’s an everyday bag for you I would opt out for a different hardware since your a little worried about chipping if not I say totally keep it I’m sure it’s beautiful and YSL black on black hardware is my favorite out of all the designers out there Hope that helps 😀💕

New version of this bag does not have the adjustable strap nor the middle compartment were you were able to put like a card holder they got rid of that from what I’ve been reading

Hi. YSL does not have any chain straps… not that I know of or see before. You can just find some on Amazon! 💕💕
