GotTech Episode 4+: Yes, I Went Back to that Estate Sale!

In Episode 4, I talked about two items I'd bought from an estate sale here in Connecticut. This morning, I went back to that estate sale for its final day…and here's what I found!
UPDATE: I think I've found the people who recorded those "Talking Letters" on the compact cassettes, and I've contacted one of them (he is a professor at one of the most prestigious universities in America). I'll keep you posted!

When estate sales are good, they're GREAT. (When they're just glorified moving sales with a ton of Crate & Barrel furniture, they stink!)

The family seems to have some german roots, considering the childrens song from last episode and the two beer steins (one bearing the german state emblems, the other being from Würzburg)
