I love how colorful and stylized everything is, despite having such high fidielity, detailed models. Everyone strap in, next year is gonna be quite exciting. Character reveals are gonna be so hype.

I am so happy that Final Fight merged even further in Street Fighter. We're probably never getting another Final Fight but roaming around Metro City and seeing Wooli-I mean Damnd have an official model is insane to me.

The characters look too plasticy. Is there no subsurface scattering? I see why Capcom would switch to their in-house engine, but SF5 was on UE4, woulda been better for SF6 to be on UE5. Oh well still looks decent.

Here is a wish list for future World Tour and Avatars updates:
1 - Make and give an option to play World Tour Online too (it will be a lot of fun and great to see Online players on the streets of World Tour, and not only just in Battle Hub.
2 - Expand Metro City in World Tour with more areas, increase the map, give more zones to explore, and more other stuff.
3 - Create a Casual Fight mode with the life bars of normal matches (Matches of the Original characters) but for our Avatars, and not only just that Fights on Battle Hub. (Those Avatar matches at Battle Hub major of them are not even fair because of Avatar's level, big life bars and buffs of cosmetics).
4 - Remove the limitations of Special moves for our Avatars. For example: I want my Avatar to be 100% Ryu with his style and with all his Special moves, but since the Specials gets replaced by others, like, Hadouken gets replaced by Donkey Kick and vice-versa and etc... it doesn't make any sense! The sequence is the same but the buttons are different, the punch button has nothing to do with the kick button! The only characters that our Avatars can be 100% are: Chun-Li, Juri and Guile! Please remove the limitations of Special moves for our Avatars, please.
With those updates World Tour and Avatar's stuff will be more fun and better, overall the game will become more fun and even better 🤩😉

THIS right here is what I love about gaming, its a culture created from the interactions of East and Western cultures. A special culture where you can have hardcore friendly competition, get worked over by some talented hands and hunger for more of the same vibe. This song is fire, haven't been this hyped since SF3.
@Jotaro97 You're exactly right. That's why outside of being a gamer i'm also a Artist, Novelist and film projectionist. I spent the last 12 years helping indie film makers get their works on screen. I just love all of it. Art, Production, Storytelling, Music, etc; things that bridge the gap between different people by exchanging culture.

Learned how to become a Multimedia specialist, years later around got a job working in film. learned Networking, started working on publishing my own book, worked my way up doing special events and media work for indie films makers while being a film projectionist for theater chains in Chicago.

Street Fighter 6 is looking pretty awesome! I like how Metro City is the main focus, the character models look cool, and the special effects looks great. Can't wait for more news and character reveals.
Speaking of character reveals, I hope that for SF6, Capcom adds a female Vietnamese Vovinam fighter, and another female South Korean character who uses taekkyeon.
Street Fighter and Final Fight are set in the same universe, so it makes sense.
Speaking of characters, I wish Cammy is gonna be here AND I think her friend Lita Luwanda debuts in it too!! Can't wait!

Also I wish there was an Ultra Street Fighter 3 as well, with the balanced gameplay of SF3 Third Strike but with the visuals and animations of 2nd Impact Giant Attack, and with alot of extras, per example:
Old and New graphics like Ultra Street Fighter 2 has, and all UI from all SF3 versions (New Generation, 2nd Impact Giant Attack and "3rd" Third Strike), including all announcers and main menu music from all SF3 versions.
All Stages of all SF3 versions (New Generation, 2nd Impact Giant Attack and "3rd" Third Strike), including all OST too.
Making Gill playable in all fight modes except on Online matches.
New characters "What If ones" - Evil Ryu, Violent Ken, Gouken, Shin Akuma, and Oni Akuma - "Of course Shin Akuma and Oni Akuma not playable on Online matches because they are overpowered like Gill).
Team Battle mode like Ultra Street Fighter 2 has and etc...
An Ultra Street Fighter 3 with all these ideas could be cool because more and more people are enjoying SF3 Third Strike nowadays, SF3 Third Strike is a masterpiece and is aging like a fine wine 😌
This definitely looks like a continuation of Third Strike, thematically speaking. I’m hoping the hit stop from the combos aren’t actually that long, and the free roam thing isn’t telling us we’re getting an Arcsys lobby. Those all said, I hope we see more
This has to be a sequel to third strike. Story-wise, they have nowhere else to go. If you notice, Ryu has an outfit similar to Oro. Which means, he’s already been training under him. It has to be the “real SF4” and not the SF3 prequels we’ve been getting haha.

I can't stop watching this, it looks absolutely spectacular, this is the first game that REALLY makes me want to get a new generation console, the effort and love put into it really shows.
I love how Ryu and Chun-li can represents old/veteran players and Jamie/Luke can represents young and new players with theirs fighting style !

An old head here. It's been 24 years since I played street fighter for the first time in my life as a kid (Street fighter II: The world warrior). So glad we old fans made it this far. Street fighter III: third strike is considered the best of the entire series and since SFVI is during the same timeline, I hope they bring us the very best fighting game to it's throne as undisputed number once again.

I really appreciate how Capcom is finally progressing the actual story of SF and that the OG cast doesn't look like they're forever in their 20's. Also, more focus on the story aspect is a welcome change from SF5's disastrous launch

Yeah as I said in my comment, character models graphically wise stepped up to MK's looks, while keeping that same aesthetic found in SF5 and a couple other previous games. Definitely looking to see how these more "flesh and bone" looks for the characters plays out in character reveals. I wanna see Juri.

Man, I'm really happy how bold they are with the style of the game. My issue with SFV was the game not really having a strong identity. This one seems like it knows what world it wants to craft and be in.
SFV feels like they were trying to do the SFIV style all over again/tried to improve on it but stopped halfway. Meanwhile this took the streets/hip-hop aesthetic and turned it up to 11 to give nothing but pure style, flair, and an actual personality unlike V. Plus the soundtrack so far is just amazing
0:54 is Damnd from the Mad Gear Gang!! Street Fighter 6 looks more street centric than ever, so I'm willing to bet more Mad Gear Gang members, Rival School characters and young fighters like Sean will make the roster. I think the idea is new school vs old school 🤔 either way it looks VERY promising so far 😁

Honestly with this whole old school vs new school what I’m hoping for is all the OG world warriors to be there and have like an apprentice of sorts to pass the torch whether it be existing characters or brand new ones to fill the role. A few quick examples would be like…
Ryu - Luke
Ken - Sean
Chun Li - that girl in the trailer (I read a comment saying it could possibly be her daughter)
Zangief - Alex (ik canonically Mika is his apprentice but realistically speaking if they decided to make the next game a soft reboot like III Alex is the best choice to be the grappler poster boy)

Of all the times I've watched this trailer, what warms my heart is seeing Ryu paying homage to his master :)) it reminds me of wisdom and aging gracefully for all of our beloved Street Fighters. Of course, we are so looking forward for the new breeds of scrappers!!! Hence to why SF6 is such a hype

Pretty much soothed any worries I had about artstyle based on the teaser. really loving everyone's new designs, especially main man Ryu looking like a master now. The exploration side of things and bringing the world of street fighter to the forefront seems really interesting too. Animation looks about as clean as ever without sacrificing the snap that the series is known for and seems to be trying to combine systems from past games on a balanced way for a much better experience. Will have to wait and see if it works in practice but at this stage I'm happy to see them finally move forward and progress aspects of the characters as well as trying new things with gameplay.
I gotta say I'm liking what I see. Looks dope asf! Ryu looks.... old, of course. Chun li is still waifu n im seeing some newcomers! PLUS WE'RE GETTING A BATTLE HUB!!!!!!

Lots of Final Fight and Metro City love in this, up to and including a billboard with Hugo (and one mentioned Hakan, even), Haggar's statue and even Damnd in the flesh (doubt he'd be playable, though).
It looks like there's a "city exploration" mode in there, too. Interesting.

I am glad that SF6 pretty much keeps the same character look as SFV but more stylized toward realism. In fact, I would say, in-game of Street Fighter 6 looks like SFV's cinematic trailer of the Arcade Edition.

This was an introduction to the new era being taught by us, making them learn about a legacy that made us believe in something far more valuable than courage and wisdom. I'm so in for it now. We played street fighter as a youngster now we will play it as a mentor............

Man I'm at work watching a trailer for a game I already own. I think Capcom might have nailed this one.
I was so worried about this game with the logo drama and the way Luke's story was but gosh dang you guys knocked it out of the park! This game looks beautiful, animation looks really smooth, and the style is just awesome!
I can't wait to see what characters we're getting this time around.
This is exactly what I thought of and wished for a few days ago, a street fighter where we can walk through cities or maps, atleast through a part of them and encounter fighters. Damn, Ryu looks epic with his new design and the Sakura Tree. Outstanding work
I feel like Luke and Jamie are gonna have a big rivalry and friendship much like Ryu and Ken do. The two of them have a lot of great potential and I can't wait to try them out when the game is released.

Been playing this game in spare time since day 1. Haven't touched any other game / console since.
The soundtrack, my god, if they are actually focusing on making songs for each character, like Guilty Gear Strive, it will be the best street fighter soundtrack on existence, and it could be worthy for giving the characters some detail, representing who they are.
Personally what I’m hoping for is theme songs like Strive but in Street Fighters case I want them to remix the old themes (like they usually do) but use as the beat to a theme song with lyrics

@@wildman456 oh I want this so bad. Only disadvantage I see to this is that Strive uses musical structure to tell more about the characters, the older themes likely don't to the same degree.

So, I heard a lot of people are saying that the Drive System are a clusterfuck of mechanics, but from what I can gather from this trailer and the website regarding the Drive System, all of it basically boils down to these:
1. Drive Impact: Focus Attack that puts your opponent into a Roman Cancel-like state if it connects.
2. Drive Parry: Universal parry that is extremely plus and doesn't use the gauge if you just-frame it.
3. Overdrive: EX move renamed.
4. Drive Rush: Dash cancel from a normal or parry.
5. Drive Reversal: V-Reversal renamed.
When you break them down one by one like these, it's not really as confusing as it seems. They just put all of already existing mechanics into one, streamlined system, and it's amazing in my opinion.
I find it hilarious that this trailer was uploaded exactly one year before its release date. Planning: It will get you far.
