Was at a guitar store in Poland and tried out bunch of guitars, and this one stood out. Im coming from classical and just wanted a steel string to try out something new so i went in completely blind. But it really had that fullness youre describing to the sound. Got for about 350 dollars new. Super happy, very inspiring to play.
Thanks, glad it’s helpful! For $1K you could get a nice Martin or Taylor. This Guild here, like I mention, was under $400 used but plays like an $800 or so guitar. Just incredible value. Happy shopping!
I've had one for years and it stays in tune with no problems. It has great tone, sustain, and wonderful playability. It rivals $1K guitars. I'll never sell it, because I could never get what it's worth.
@BillyDeCristofano Please do more guitar demos on your channel. Honestly, this is a perfect guitar to play "Tv" by Billie Eilish. As well as her other song, "Your Power". Man, this guitar is perfect to play, "Happier than ever" by Billie Eilsh. And this guitar, is perfect to play songs by The 1975, Madison Beer, Taylor Swift, Zach Bryan, and Luke Combs. Keep rockin' my friend, and stay safe out there.
I haven’t played a Fender Paramount (I need to!) so can’t say for sure. This Guild looks to be a lower price but with great sound quality so could be a better value. Will have to seek out a Paramount and try it out.
Yeah it’s definitely brighter when I play with a pick! In this video I’m actually using the strings that were on the guitar when I bought it, and I’m not sure what they were.

@@hNsGregrz sounds like you’ve had the same experience as me! Glad to hear you’re happy with it!
I had the same experience when I purchased mine, used. Fantastic guitar. It is so good, I'll never sell it.
Good to know it’s not just me!
Awesome review I’m getting one…! 🤘🏽
@@petermartinez1507 nice! Best guitar value going - enjoy it.
I love Guild guitars. I have a 12 string and it’s a lovely guitar. I am eyeballing this for another 6 string acoustic.
@@christophercameron4615 oh I bet the 12-string sounds nice. They’re putting out great guitars.
Great review. I’m looking for an acoustic myself, I have $1000 to spend on one. Not sure what I’m getting yet.

Great review man Most professional. Guitar sounds great. What kind of strings you have on it
The arched back saves them money on back bracing. It works fine. My m240e sounds great for it's size.
Great guitar!!!
@@slimjimjesus2794 I concur!
Good luck keeping it in tune!

you're tacky!
Cheap tuners?
@@ericcmi flimsy neck.
I have the same guitar! It sounds better and plays better than my “expensive” guitar!

I appreciate that, thanks! Great recommendations. You keep on rocking as well!
Better than a all solid Fender Paramount?

Best deal going.
Forgot about my question about what strings that ok I see why the guitar sounded warm muted you were using your big fat thumbs instead of a pick

the sides are mahogany, are they solid too?
No, they don’t seem to be.
