And from here Eren's innocence and dreams from childhood disappeared and he faces the harsh and cruel reality, now he knows that they are still too far from achieving that freedom that he so longs for...

I believe Isayama even said he intentionally wrote Floch this way for those reasons. We finally see what happened between Grisha and Frieda. He pleaded with her and gave her a chance to fix things, the vow renouncing war wouldn't let her act, and so he had to eat her. Pretty tragic. Eren starting the season and ending it at the ocean was fantastic, mainly because of the flip of expectations. Seeing him there at the start was basically a hype moment, but undercut with a bit of worry at his words and the lack of anyone else around him. Then we finally get here and everything's okay. People are there and having fun, but Eren is the one in hell in his mind and unable to really enjoy it. There was an obvious change you could see in Eren at the start, but now you could really tell how much he's changed. He seemed so sad, spaced out, and his usual "Kill them all (titans)!" is now "Kill them all (the world)?" For majority of the series, the ocean has always symbolized the path to freedom but now that we're finally here, freedom is still nowhere in sight. Just a whole lot more pain and suffering ahead of them. The ending was still beautiful though. Beautiful and somber. I can't believe we're in the endgame for the anime already. I expected at least 2 more seasons but nope, next season is the last one 😭

Amine Radhoini ohh that’s to be honest i don’t know i think there’s two scenes that I don’t recognized and I don’t think it was in the manga Sorry about my english 🙏🏾
Here's a long rant about Eren, Mikasa, and Armin's entitlement that most of you probably won't read. The fact that the RT gang calls Floch a "coward" and "bitch" is an example of viewer bias towards the main cast. I genuinely like Floch. His POV and mentality is a breath of fresh air in this anime, and in shonen in general. He's a great example of what a REAL person would think and feel in their world. OFC he'd be scared. Anyone would. Anyone reading this who thinks otherwise is either a liar or a fool. Isayama even stated in an interview that he wrote Floch to be that way. He says he's the one that makes their dire situations relatable for the average person. Otherwise, the story would only ever favor the "important" MCs. The opposition is necessary (he said). Floch gives voice to the minority- he represents the side characters in anime who don't get to be vocal since they're not important enough to the plot to really get any big moments. His entire character subverts the "MCs/chosen characters are the only ones who matter" mindset that a lot of animes have. Rarely, if ever, does an anime give the perspective of the fodder. I think it's a breath of fresh air, and it certainly makes the world of AoT feel more real. It's an undeniable FACT that Eren and Mikasa acted selfishly on the rooftop. They attacked their comrades and superiors because of their OWN personal feelings. They think the world revolves around them, and because they're emotionally attached to Armin they act recklessly. And guess what? THERE ARE LITERALLY NO REPERCUSSIONS FOR THEM. They get a few days in the dungeon and that's it. They get off literally scott-free for the BS they pulled. And to be fair, the only reason most watchers choose Armin over Erwin is because of his connection to Eren and Mikasa, and because of his place in the main trio. The world doesn't revolve around Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, and they shouldn't expect to always get their way. But somehow, they always do, and it's always the no-name side characters that pay the price. From a completely logical view, if you were in the same universe as them, without being clouded by your emotions, Erwin is the logical choice. And as much of a dickbag move as it was, I'm REALLY glad Floch slapped Eren with that truth. Eren's shonen mentality has been annoying since day one, and it's rare to see a shonen MC get a taste of reality. That they can't always have things their way, and that throwing tantrums and shouting doesn't always solve problems.
I love RT tv but it’s obvious they don’t get Floch view most casual viewers don’t I thought the manga readers of the group would but I was wrong. It’s obvious people are gonna have a bias towards Armin just like Mikasa And Eren
I agree with you! I don't like Floch that much but I really agree with everything he said! Someone has to say the truth! Even if it is harsh someone has to!
@@kingfadedz7882 yep. And it's expected too, which makes it all the more frustrating when they just dismiss him as a "bitch". After 3 seasons, most viewers are too attached to the main cast to spare any thoughts for side characters.
polygon yea it sucks it’s called good storytelling but people having these bias can’t let them see it. There’s nothing wrong with being bias to the MCs we all are but it’s good see different point of views and how they relate to us and real life but people will shrug off a person like Floch because he’s a side character or Fodder as he said himself and just take his words as nothing even Armin himself agreed
The ending was sad 💔 but u have 2 give Floch some respect, my man was speaking the truth 🗣️.....but I still believe Armin was the best choice!.....#TeamArmin lol
Yep, they chose Armin because he was their friend. That's it, if I was a member of the scouts I'd have been pissed. It was an emotional decision, not a logical one.
Kekkersboy you’re forgetting that erwin would be so depressed if he was alive. He sent so many of his men to die and to live with that would be too much for him.
@@Kekkersboy I half agree lol It's true it was an emotional decision, but I felt it was a logical one too. Armin really is a genius! Erwin didn't even know what he would do if they reach the basement....both r great heros lol

I think I’m gonna stop reading the manga (latest chapter) from this point and let season 4 come. So I will watch the ending of AOT as a anime only, just like how i started AOT.

9:14 She is being possessed by Founding king right? so why he still refuse to fight even when the fight came to him, wasn't his promise if you fight us i'll unleash hell on the world and leave us alone ?
no. Sry its literally a year late but the king wanted to live his last years in peace. He felt that the sins of eldians were far too terrible to ever atone for so if they ever attacked he would let the whole race including him get wiped out but they didn't wipe him out because he gave a false threat
@@teibdavies242 he didn't just store them in there, he used them to create the walls. And used the fact that he had hundreds of millions titans to convince ppl his threat was real, but he never really intended to actually use them because he really felt tired and guilty of the bloodshed caused by his ppl. So he basically just accepted to let all eldians die if it came to it.
Just a glimpse of Eren pointing at the end of the sea i know that something is gonna be epic next season but for now i will protect that goddamn smile of mikasa
12:50 seeing Wellz and Jerry's reaction to this just makes me appreciate attack on titan even more, its just like how do you even think of creating something this percfect
For the people who are confused about the timeskip in this episode it hasn't actually been a year since the events of the battle to retake shiganshina its been 8 months, its been a year since the attack on trost ( episode 4 of season 1 ) it says so in the manga.
I'm with Patric on this one.. Eren wasn't happy at all when they reached the titan. he already looked burdened by everything he knew so there was no room to feel happy.
I've got to say, the very last part is one of my favorite parts in Attack on Titan. I've never experienced such a rapid change in admiration for a character until Eren, amidst all his friends having fun, realized what this meant. That there were still enemies and that they still must be subdued to obtain freedom. That was such an unexpected ending and it hit me harder than a freight train that is not only chugging along, but is also being pushed by a jet. Best ending of a season scene... well except for Death Note, but that was the end of the show.
Don’t ever ever do a live stream on UA-cam again without first getting at least five moderators or more. The live stream was filled with nothing but people spoiling
I find it upsetting seeing Eren change. Throughout the past couple of episodes, we can see him slowly appearing drained as he finds out more and more about his father, and the outside world.

Fares Banihani Hell yeah
@@faresbanihani7269 Yes, the counter attack begins!
If it's the opposite and Eren is saying that it should be Armin, they will still get mad at Floch. That's the power of a main character for you.
Floch, no lie, has some serious survivor's guilt. It seems to me that he's projecting that guilt onto the main cast.
I mean, I'd have survivor's guilt too if I was the only one who survived while everyone else was shredded to bits by rocks thrown by a fucking 60 ft tall Sasquatch with daddy issues.
Nah bro floch is just crazy. As a new recruit who knew nothing about Armin his opinion was irrelevant.

Sure floch is biased for erwin but it makes more sense since it's for the commander the leader. Also if you do a suicide charge i don't care how less important you are you are allowed an opinion.
Floch did go of too hard that is really his only issue he was too honest enough is enough.

Amine Radhoini Idk about anyone else but the first time I’ve seen the episode i recognize where it’s from 🤷🏾♀️

Amine Radhoini ohh that’s to be honest i don’t know i think there’s two scenes that I don’t recognized and I don’t think it was in the manga
Sorry about my english 🙏🏾
IGOONX the mistery in AOT is awesooome
There’s nothing wrong with being bias to the MCs we all are but it’s good see different point of views and how they relate to us and real life but people will shrug off a person like Floch because he’s a side character or Fodder as he said himself and just take his words as nothing even Armin himself agreed
polygon much respect
The ending was sad 💔 but u have 2 give Floch some respect, my man was speaking the truth 🗣️.....but I still believe Armin was the best choice!.....#TeamArmin lol
Mini EXO-L floch is a huge bitch
Yep, they chose Armin because he was their friend. That's it, if I was a member of the scouts I'd have been pissed. It was an emotional decision, not a logical one.
Kekkersboy you’re forgetting that erwin would be so depressed if he was alive. He sent so many of his men to die and to live with that would be too much for him.
Mini EXO-L armin was def the choice !
@@Kekkersboy I half agree lol It's true it was an emotional decision, but I felt it was a logical one too. Armin really is a genius! Don't get me wrong I like Erwin lol but he lacks something Armin already have...I mean Armin had dreams, he wanted 2 see the ocean! Erwin didn't even know what he would do if they reach the basement....both r great heros lol

9:14 She is being possessed by Founding king right? so why he still refuse to fight even when the fight came to him, wasn't his promise if you fight us i'll unleash hell on the world and leave us alone ?
it was just a threat.
no. Sry its literally a year late but the king wanted to live his last years in peace. He felt that the sins of eldians were far too terrible to ever atone for so if they ever attacked he would let the whole race including him get wiped out but they didn't wipe him out because he gave a false threat
@@xoticz7305 why did he still have Titans in the walls if it was just a bluff?
@@teibdavies242 he didn't just store them in there, he used them to create the walls. And used the fact that he had hundreds of millions titans to convince ppl his threat was real, but he never really intended to actually use them because he really felt tired and guilty of the bloodshed caused by his ppl. So he basically just accepted to let all eldians die if it came to it.

This has been one of the best seasons of TV I have ever seen. It was a blast going on this journey with you guys.
Rob with that fire fire Barkley Suns jersey.
