Risking it all for a tag on a train. What an amazing experience it must have been. God bless all of the lost souls who tagged NYC during the 1970s. My favorite artist was CLIFF! I was able to track down some artists still alive today and asked them what happened to him. Only one replied. He died of AIDs during the 1980s epidemic. RIP Cliff.
Love this, the creators and originators. The pioneers of this culture we call writing. Rest in Paradise to all the legends not here with us today, we will never forget...........

Thank you for explaining the street history to the younger people who don't really know anything about it . Does Michael Tracy have any upcoming shows. Hopefully he does. If anybody knows can they please post dates of the shows and locations . Thank you
I only know this time from the movies or clips. How was the time for the writters? Were the trains guarded, it was difficult to get to them at all, or there was no guard and everything was easy to "bomb"?
Does anyone know if the Tracy 168 on the dark brick is near yankee stadium also what years did the legends yosemite sam piece on the back of the train run from if any one knows answer ty

Graffiti has nothing to do with hip hop!!!!
Tracy I’m remembering 1982 you and iz were all city. Amazing you had the wherewithal to document this on 8 mm film.
IZ maybe but not TRACY, 1982 TRACY was rarely doing trains, you sure you don't mean 72??? 1982 IZ was definitely all City.
