On Galaxy Watch Active is supported Google Wallet?
I think my watch is series 2 from 2020 and I cannot find the watch pay app anywhere. Is this because my watch is 4 years old? I installed Samsung pay on my Samsung mobile

Do you know how to activate the "hold the back button" shortcut to start google pay? It seems to be hard-coded to start Samsung pay.
I know it's late but someone may find this useful, Go to your wearable app on your phone and go to watch settings and advanced features, there you and change the double press to whatever app you like but you can't change the press and hold to whatever you want.

Go to settings> advanced features> customize buttons
From there you can assign the button to open G Wallet with double click or holding down the button.
It will ask you to set Google wallet as the default payment app after you add a card. You can also change it by opening the quick panel and holding down the nfc icon, then scroll down until you get to the contactless payment option.
My Galaxy Watch Classic 6 is non LTE version, so I suppose I cannot use NFC because I have to be always connected to internet? So in this case ....should I have the smartwatch (non LTE) always connected with my smartphone (which is online ofcourse) to use NFC? Enlight me please. If it's not necessary - how payments work if my account isn't online right now.
It doesn't require any LTE wifi or Bluetooth to pay

You have to open the app before and select whatever card you are using.
When I did it it gave me the option if I wanna just tap the watch or open the app on my watch

Since owning my watch 5 google pay was my default. And I could long press the back button. Then out of nowhere it changed to Samsung pay and can't use that button for Google anymore rude
I'm wondering with this could be the reason.. on your phone, go to settings.. then connections.. then click NFC and Contactless Payments.. then click Contactless Payments.. then here is where I'm wondering is your issue.. you should have 2 options.. Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Maybe yours switched to Samsung Pay.. maybe try Google Pay and see if your back buttons is back to working normally. .. good luck!

Watch Active 2 is on Tizen OS. I guess google wallet is supported only with Wear OS. I might be wrong though. And Samsung started using Wear OS from 4th edition of watches

Samsung pay or Samsung wallet might be better for India.
This is Google Wallet, not Google Pay. Maybe Google changed the name, so might not be your fault. I don't think you can use Google Pay (GPay) with any watch.
Google wallet = google pay, and like you can see in the video, it works. Mine works
@@justinhoek1297 Google Pay is very different in India from the US. We don't have cards, loyalty points or any such thing. It only works through the UPI payment method. Same name, different functionalities.
@@justinhoek1297 did you have an issue adding your card? Mine says check with your bank for some reason but it syncs to the wallet. I have a few updates to install on my watch 4 classic so it might just be that its not at the latest version.
I have it installed and set up, but the watch asks me to set it up as default but it doesn't let me change samsung pay

@DerlinSantana if you go to settings, then connections, then nfc payments, scroll down one and you can change between Google and Samsung payment methods if that helps
