Buzz word galore. They taught me not to use buzz words but that's all business uses now. He's the reason people don't want to go back to the office.

Bogus. Office work is not productive. Sitting in a private home office and not looking over your shoulder every two seconds is productive.

Forget Office Space - That Ship Sailed after the pandemic, it will be hard for companies to get employees to come back into it. Many have moved and relocated, there will be a lot of attrition of experts in different fields if this happens and unemployment continues to be down, so good luck finding qualified replacements.

Hard? Just don’t pay them. Undoubtedly these employees have mortgages and cars they can barely afford and have no 6 months emergency fund. 😢

@@pjjj23 Exactly! For demographic reasons, there are now an incredible number of jobs available across the whole western world at ALL skill levels, from completely unskilled to highly skilled and ultra-specialized. Anybody who wants a job now can hold out for the best offer for their particular situation. People in the West have either had no children or tiny families for decades now and this trend is well established now in non-western countries also. That means that the new generation of workers is the smallest ever, with or without globalization. So hold out for the best offer and best conditions for your own circumstances and take care of yourself!

@@hteadxsilly child. I'd take a bit less to not have to waste ten hours of my life per week on a commute. And as soon as someone offers my old salary, and they will, I jump. Things aren't ever going back.

I see skyscrapers of wind tunnels and turbines, indoor farm land with humidity control, an environment any modern day millennial wouldn't mind growing in to get out of this dreadfully hot sun we seem to be having lately.

WFH is secondary as to why places like SF are feeling it. Many larger businesses have relocated amid the tax and other policies of these states.

SF is a crime-ridden hellhole and a dystopian nightmare. People don't feel safe there and retailers are being shoplifted out of businesses as the police remained handcuffed, being told not to enforce the law. Even when they do make arrests, the woke DA refuses to prosecute. SF is dead.
