I've always liked the way your videos take us through the process. It's not just "Here's a song I arranged" or "this is what I learned" you take us with you through the research process- how you learned it and show all the details, what was easy and what may have been a little tricky. Thank you so much for sharing!
Dear Nahre, Don't ever let the pressure of having to outdo your last best self cause you to stop, ever. Less than half your amazing worth still blows me away. I hope you have a wonderful time in your new diggings. Listening to you with love from Washington
I know this video is kinda old now but I am begging you Nahre to put this arrangement on streaming services. I have gone back to this piece now and again and it’s seriously one of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever heard and I just wish there was a more accessible way to listen to it.
Nahre, the stilted portrayal of the back and forth collaboration between you and your good friend Julius Meltzer was hysterically funny. Your humor disarms and draws us in. Your art soothes and inspires us. I think I can say that for at least your ½ million plus subscribers, you have achieved your stated goal of ‘spreading enthusiasm for music’. (the world is so much better because you’re in it!) Thank you!!!
The process was from beginning to end was great to watch and the final product is lush and beautiful. Congrats to you and Julius. The duplets over the 3/4 has such a great feel. You do great work here Nahre. Thank you.
I just wanna say that I admire you a lot since you're so obviously such a dedicated and talented musician. You really bring the meaning to the word "artist". Please keep on doing this and maybe even consider making a piano course since you would bring a lot to the table :D
You guys took it from my brain, you polished it, you gave it wings like I said, you turned into an angel , you returned to my heart and then all my heart did was whispered it to my eyes and I started to cry... Mario Romano (such a poet)
Around 9:29 to 9:34, I think it was. I noticed that my tears have been welling up underneath my eyes. It's beautiful.💕 His words at the end! So accurate. Whispered it straight to my eyes!
Ms. Sol you have a gift to make exquisitely delicate sweet desserts out of whatever is left in the compositional fridge. This was apparent in your submission for “5 Musicians, 1 Scale”. But in this case the musical fridge was exceedingly well stocked by Mr Romano, and you appear to have lucked out with a Michelin-starred sous-chef in Mr. Meltzer. Synergy indeed.
I'm.... I'm speechless. I started watching your videos after the WIRED video and I absolutely do not regret subscribing to you haha. This literally made my day. 이런 음악을 무료로 듣게 해주시다니... 감사합니다.
I am not formally trained and just know how to sequence music using a DAW and synthesizers/samplers but I love learning the intricacies of how to compose formal music because there's a lot that can be applied to other types of music. Thanks for sharing it's a lovely piece!
The BBC had someone writing music very like this in the 80s and early 90s. Not easy writing but simple to the ear - rather like Menuhin saying about Gypsy violinists "How does one write this down?!" I'm rather touched that you got this wonderfully relaxed and natural sound in the box. I love it!
If there was a place where I could listen to your rearrangements/original pieces that you do in your genre exploration I would be in heaven! Nahre, you are the best! Thank you for all you do for music!
When the Final Arrangement was revealed , I just cried . I had a pretty bad 2020 and had doubts of 2021 being a good year . But this song gave me hope and inspiration to move on and to remember the beauty of music and the moments i share with people ! This is wonderful ! lots of lve to Nahre Sol and the rest ! This is a Life Changer and for the better !
Growing up on Mr. Bean's holiday, I absolutely LOVED it and still do today. I'm surprised though that it didn't gain popularity here in the U.S. Thank you for the rundown on Rowan's career🙌🙌🙌
"I get emotional," the composer says. Me, too. I was blinking back a few tears by the end. Just gorgeous! And what a treat to be given a view into the arranging and production process. -Tom
This arrangement is breathtaking in the purest sense. I don’t think I dared to breathe during the entire thing for fear that I’d miss a note. Captivating and lovely work, Nahre! You’re an inspiration to young composers like me!
Nahre, You're videos just keep getting better and better: the editing, the style and even your ideas. I like that you aren't just repeating past successful topics you have done but moving onto other aspects of music like re-arranging. - Justice Constantine
Through the whole song, I was imagining a story of a wedding, all the thoughts running through the brides as they prepare for a big chapter in their lives.. Your videos are so well crafted :') i think it gives me, a casual viewer a huge meaning in your arrangements and makes me appreciate them more. Thank you
Arranging is an excellent way to strengthen all aspects of composition, by showing us how much we have to work with *around* the melody and the general harmonic structure - voicing, instrumentation, rhythmic drive, dramatic ebb and flow, playability per the given ensemble or solo instrument... I play piano and like to sing songs like this but I cannot play at the same level of musical elaboration if I ALSO have to sing at the same time, so I arrange or improvise differently depending upon whether I am the singer.
As a pianist/composer in the making I can't even begin to describe how helpful your videos are. I'm a Big fan of your work, thanks for everything you share with us 🖤
Mario seems like a very poetic and warm guy. The intelligent things he must say... Also, how great was it for Nahre to show us the process...its a gem. As for the result? Simply magnificent. I don't see myself getting to that level in a long time
“The melody has never finished and never started” is so inspired! Danke! And the collaborative arrangement of the theme is above and beyond the original yet is an instrumental variation OF it. So the “work” is the ongoing multi-phase unfurling of an idea...which viewers of this video will no doubt improve-ise on their instrument at home or who knows how the life of this tune will go on but certainly IT WILL. Thank you for sharing the wealth.
Thank you for this wonderful material. When I heard the first arrangement I was so disappointed...but when I got to the final version my heart was smiling. This is really a Labor of Love.
Beautiful, Nahre! I liked the meter change to 3 and your piano comping in the beginning reminded me of Chopin's E minor prelude. Very nice voicings, substitutions and voice leading.
Couldn't help but tear up a bit on this one. What a great piece of music. Both pieces! I love your channel so much man. SUCH a huge inspiration every time you put out a new video.
Dam man, what an amazing video, loved everything about it, the editing was really unique and the arrangement was so pretty. It's really rare to see an arranger's process and this makes me really appreciate these things even more now!!
Thank you for watching and commenting!

Brilliant! Thanks for this work.
One question: At 8'20'' what is the meaning of the parenthesis around D?
Was about to say something, but then he put it into words better than I could, so I’ll just say thank you guys! Brought a little tear. Made me feel.
Thank you Cuckoo! That means a lot to me!

Nahre sol's text conversations sound like they're directed by david lynch
so true
Or by Giorgio Lanthimos
It's a beautiful song. And an amazing journey that you take us with the arrangement. Mario's words in the end say it all.
Thank you so much!!

I love the extreme formality in the back and forth section🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

the notion of genre has held back music for so long . when you break free you get this kind of music
You guys took it from my brain, you polished it, you gave it wings like I said, you turned into an angel , you returned to my heart and then all my heart did was whispered it to my eyes and I started to cry... Mario Romano (such a poet)
The opening of the final version, chills and tears :)
Your videos are just soul nurturing, thank u Nahre.
It is so moving! Thank you so much!
The Wes Anderson framing, captioning, and back and forth of the video edit is so cool and fun.
Around 9:29 to 9:34, I think it was. I noticed that my tears have been welling up underneath my eyes. It's beautiful.💕
His words at the end! So accurate. Whispered it straight to my eyes!
The arrangement sounds just like Bar Piano, it‘s really gentle, people will listen to it in a nice mood. No hurry, just really enjoy in this moment!
it's been a while since a song could bring tears to my eyes.. thank you, Nahre!

Sublime... Nahre & Julius... brought tears to my eyes.
Nahre learns, we all learn with her! Win win.💪😎😎
I mean... WOW ! 7:58 gives me so many goosebumps. It's so delicate and warm.
I am not formally trained and just know how to sequence music using a DAW and synthesizers/samplers but I love learning the intricacies of how to compose formal music because there's a lot that can be applied to other types of music.
Thanks for sharing it's a lovely piece!
May God bless you all for sharing your gifts with the world. I swear and commit to give the world more than what I receive from life.

It must be a great feeling to hear the original creator to give such nice words about rearrangement directly. Great work.
If there was a place where I could listen to your rearrangements/original pieces that you do in your genre exploration I would be in heaven!

That portamento at the intro part just plucks my heartstrings. I just get emotional when it slides up 🥲💖
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard, Nahre. Thank you for this gift.
bro. What he just said about melody has just blown my mind
So much work but also heart put into this... you can only thank the people who take the time to do this kind of thing
...there are no words...just pure vulnerability. (smile)

Lovely. I'm glad music like this is still being written, and thanks for the intro to Mario.
Yes, the piece is lovely . . . But the editing and narrative of this video demonstrating the process is AMAZING.

At 7:36 I knew it was amazingly splendid! So smooth and tasteful. Had to write this comment, now I'm going back to listen to the rest of this.
Bar 17-18 those chords when I first heard that mmmmmmm wow! Had to rewind loads 🙋♀️
Thank you Nahre, and your friends, for taking the time to adapt this masterpiece. It brings joy in a dim world. You made me smile.
Thank you so much 🧡
That was beautiful, it actually brought a tear to my eye. Mario said it best

this is how music connects musicians.

Wow, what a nice collaboration between very talented peoples, bravo Nahre Sol!
The opinion of the composer is so wholesome ❤
All of your collaborators are great! I hope they know how much people appreciate their appearing here.
Holy crap, I got *huge* goosebumps from that original piece!

The effort in the editing is spot on
that was so beautiful AAA !!!!!
Both the original and the new arrangement are lovely. :3
And I thought I was being formal with my emails. You just took it to a whole nother level.
Great arrangement btw
Just beautiful work by everyone. Thanks for your joy and generosity!
Thank you so much!!
Just watched your latest synth-related videos and came across this. I can’t believe I’m only watching this now
impressive and beautiful
Thank you!!!
As a pianist/composer in the making I can't even begin to describe how helpful your videos are. I'm a Big fan of your work, thanks for everything you share with us 🖤
Phenomenal and outdone yourself as usual
An artist can come along and interpret a song better than the original song. A "cover" song. An excellent bedtime nocturne, Nahre.
This is a GORGEOUS arrangement! Thank you for sharing this music with the world.
As an amateur musician this is inspiring me to go on a journey of discovery...thank you!
beautiful . im hearing both jazz and classical without ano one of them taking over from the other . verry serene
So gentle and elegant...beautiful
Sweet like sugar. Beautiful!
So subtle and sensitive!! Congrats, amazing arrangement 💞
Beautiful. Wish to compose like this someday.
Wonderful video. Wonderful arrangement. Wonderful back and forth through banter. Also, NERD!!!!! lol.
Lovely. Just...lovely. Wow.
That was grand, Nahre!!!
Keep up the great work and let us know about it.
It's a million bucks!!!!
That was such a beautiful piece of music

Beautiful, Nahre! I liked the meter change to 3 and your piano comping in the beginning reminded me of Chopin's E minor prelude. Very nice voicings, substitutions and voice leading.
this is fantastic! please put this on spotify:)
And it whispers gently in my ears, "And if you please, go to sleep"
I love watching the development of the whole thing. This final result is just great. Love the nostalgic and sentimental feel of it.
Beautiful quote of the "Laura" melody at m. 54 (9:28 in the video). Seriously, no sarcasm - it just works so well in the vibe they've created here.
We don’t deserve this. Beautiful.
You're such a genius.
What an amazing arrangement. Truly beautiful.
Mario's album "Valentina" is genuinely one of the best jazz albums I have ever heard.
Couldn't help but tear up a bit on this one. What a great piece of music. Both pieces! I love your channel so much man. SUCH a huge inspiration every time you put out a new video.
Goosebumps
