I remember watching this show my sophomore year!! Their WGI finals performance was breathtaking💗🥺I even took a picture with the whole team after they finished performing💗💗
I loved the baton twirling, but since that is the focus of their show I do not really consider it guard. I would rather see more flag and rife work as well as saber work that is not just sabers tossed like batons. Still, one cannot deny their skills on baton and their wonderful body movement and dance technique.
I love their incorporation of batons in their programs, its amazing

If they did that, they would be like everyone else. They can bring it with pretty much any piece of guard gear.
Guard uses RIfles Flags, sabres, batons, Fire batons, fire staffs, Flowerettes, and any other prop.. SO TECHNICALLY it is guard..
This song ?
I believe it's Shirley Horn not Emma Kruse
Is it Nina Simone?
Great show! Could have done without all the unnecessary GASPING from the camera person/camera person sidekick.
Any music with drums is banned from WGI.
Why?
Last time i checked most music has drums and many groups use music with drums
Umm, Blessed Sac did a whole show with just drums.
This comment was made in sarcasm due to so many groups using solo piano concertos.
