Nice reviews to the new machines, thanks. I have Touch Impress and soon enough I turned off all the suggestions. From all the nice icons / drinks, I use just 1-2 and think it is like with moder cameras - lots of fancy modes, but in the end it is about few variables - ground quality, temperature, extraction proces / flow. Frothing milk is a separate process. I am thinking of selling the Breville and getting Ascaso Duo Plus or Lelit Bianca to have more manual process / fun.
That Delonghi is Gorgeous! I hope they fix the issues they had with the first models. Those you couldn't back flush. The frame was part of the portafilter holder and you could break it easily if you put too much coffee on the portafilter and forced it in.
Hello, will you be able to do a review on the Specialista Maestro? And also, is this an internal improved version from the existing Maestro EC9885M or are they just cosmetic? I have seen user reviews of the EC9885M having a weak steamer and not performing as a $1000+ USD machine.
I gotta say, those Delonghis are GORGEOUS! Especially the custom option ones. The gold, black and wood…. Oooo. And that green with wood and metal accents…. Aaaa.
Hey Tom, I really enjoy your informative videos, especially about the superautomatic espresso machines. Would it be possible to review the DeLonghi Magnifica plus in the future if you have a chance? It's a relatively new machine, however looks like a great one choice. It's budget-friendly however it has higher-end features similar to the Dinamica. Thanks
Thanks so much! The Magnifica Plus looks pretty cool. Man, there's so many models...I think the Magnifica Plus will likely be similar to the Dinamica Plus.
Moin Tom! Alles klar? I enjoyed the video, esp the Lelit demo. Interestingly the machine can replicate a lever, so is that something you would recommend? Do you use a lever espresso machine? Danke schoen.
Oracle Jet is is in full swing here in the States. Getting some mixed reviews. Many are saying that they don't like all the help you get with the computer on the machine. You can turn it off or on only. Not eliminate some of the messages only. Sounds like too much Ai to me!
When will the Sage Oracle Jet be sold in Germany? Mediamarkt Austria already has a product page. It is said to cost EUR 1,899 there, but is not yet available.
I will wait for the full review but it seems Delonghi might have dropped the ball with the new Specialita: Same old hopper with few grind settings, the new tamper does not seem that good, does not seem to have smart grind recommendations (like the latest sage and ninja), and finally, the auto steam apparatus seems like a fuss and two more things to clean (why not use the same system that's in the Dedica?)
Im wondering how many those De'Longhi machines sell, considering for the price (actually cheaper!) I got a Mara X. Yes, you wait for the heatup, but longevity and quality are just on a different level for less money. At this price point, why dont one just get a full automatic - it will probably deliver the same quality if coffee without any manual intervention. 🤔
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Yes, absolutely! I actually had a Dedica which I modified quite a bit, influenced by your channel! ☺️ The Mara I imported from Italy, even with shipping and getting the white version, it was cheaper than the stainless steel version in Bulgaria.
Yes, Breville owns Lelit. They wanted to add an Italian-made brand to their portfolio. Good move for both companies, I think, as now Lelit has more funding as well.
Oddly, the Bianca and the Oracle Jet are the two machines I've had my eye on. Seems like an odd duo, but it's the war between the coffee nerd and the tech head in me. I think the Jet will win out though. I just like it. And realistically, I'm big enough to admit that while flow profiling sounds interesting, at my skill level it will just provide many new and interesting ways for me to ruin my coffee lol. Also I don't really want boilers... sacrilege, I know.
Yes, they are both nice machines, albeit different. The Bianca is super pretty, and has the aforementioned flow control via paddle, which is cool. But yes, it does add another variable to think about. My biggest argument for the Jet over Bianca is the speed. The E60 brew group needs minimum 30 minutes to be fully warm - 60 is even better. I just don't have the patience for that. The Jet on the other hand is ready in minutes.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner That's exactly my feeling on dual boilers. I see the value if you need half a dozen drinks at once, but for someone who only does one or two at a time they're just a big waste of time and energy. I don't suppose Sage gave you any hint on a release date? My guess is next month.
They still sell this old Maestro for 2000€ even when there already is an upgraded version with significant improvements. 🤦🏻♂Don't understand why they won't roll out the new models everywhere. I would be very disappointed if I had bought this and then found out there is the new Maestro 👎
@@stefanskeIIen Yes, I believe EC9885 is the new model. It's not available in my country yet. But it seems it has better grinder, cool touch steam wand and hopefully better steam, slightly new design, PID temperature controller, new portafilter design.
Awesome video again Tom, that Oracle Jet is tempting....
I enjoy watching your videos Tom. You seem like a pretty chill dude 👍
Another great one Tom! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cheers Tom, I just had my espresso from my easy simple trouble free lovely Dedica
Me too ! It goes everywhere with me 👍
Great video!
Thanks for the visit!

Which of these machines do you think is the most interesting?
Oracle jet
Ditto. The Oracle jets features look awesome!

Oracle Jet looks very nice.
Coffee festival hopping - what a life! I always thought the automatic Sage models were a bit gimmicky, but that one actually looks nice. Enjoy!

Next time come to Costa Rica to try our coffee beans. Make a show from here!!!
Is that an invitation?

Great video! Did they have the Sage/Breville Dual Boiler there? I wonder what the future is for that machine…
They didn't. I don't know if they're phasing that one out or what.

We shall see...
What are your thoughts between the Meraki and the Oracle Jet?
We'll have to see. Meraki is still fully hands on, while the Jet does most things for you.
When will the Sage Oracle Jet be sold in Germany? Mediamarkt Austria already has a product page. It is said to cost EUR 1,899 there, but is not yet available.
Good question - I think October...
i like that delonghi even more than the ninja lux.
are you going to review soon the Delonghi La Specialista treviso??
I don't think so. Too expensive for me to buy for what it is. Maybe if I find one used for cheap.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner oh okay, i thought they might send you one to review.

There are certianly better options at this price, and I also don't know why they don't make a better grind adjustment...

I agree with you, but the Mara X isn’t available in all markets. Delonghi’s advantage is their worldwide availabley.

I thought there is some new mods for bianca 😅
Why not MARO Model 1?
I hadn't seen that one...but I also didn't have much time.
The La Specialista looks amazing imo. But I do not get, why they put so much effort into the design, and leaving the tamping and grinding as it is.
It's pretty, but it seems like a worse Touch impress for what I think is more money. (I'm in the UK, so I'm not too familiar with Euro pricing)
Breville/Sage owns Lelit nowadays. Did that come up somehow?
Yes, Breville owns Lelit. They wanted to add an Italian-made brand to their portfolio. Good move for both companies, I think, as now Lelit has more funding as well.
I wonder if DeLonghi is now using nanometers that last longer than mine did, less than a year.
I hope so! I would guess by now that they must have an ironed out.
Und wie ist der Geschmack?
Im not even interested I just like your reviews
