The colourway was from an actual snake of the same colour. The streets named it the grinch. Nike doesn’t like to pay for names or trademarks. Hence why the red version are just called reverse. Even the og pack was based on red green and yellow with KD completing the pack. An accidental moment of greatness from Kobe and Nike.
