Update: I started crocheting again!💃💃💃 I made the booties but I'd like to get better quality yarns (in terms of sizes, texture...) asides from the regulars we see in the market. Any suggestions on where I can find? I live in Lagos, btw.
I wish you could focus in on the project a bit closer so we could see the stitches better. This looks like a fun blanket to make. Cannot wait to see the edging.
This is great. I've always loved crocheting. I want to ask if the wool or yarn comes in different sizes like the crochet hook (in 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm... etc.). Thanks.
Hi it's so nice to meet you. I wanted to ask you, when you do the chain 1space do you insert your hook in that space before you move to the next chain space? I wanted to wish you good luck with your new channel. I'll definitely be looking out for you're new patterns. TIA ♥️
Nice to meet you too🙂. After I chain 1, I start making loops on my crochet hook in the same space where the last stitch ended. And continue to loop/yarn over in the next couple of stitches till I have 4 loops on my crochet hook. Let me know if this explanation helps.
New Subscriber. Lovely stitch and blanket. I'm just a beginner in crochet, having made a few baby beanies. Going to have to try this baby blanket. Thank you.
What size hook did you use is very important to put that in the tutorial when you give me the information on the things that you need to start crocheting thank you
This looks really easy but I am so bad at getting the edges straight. I really enjoyed watching you. Where do you come from? I was brought up in South Africa and I am just learning to crochet
If you put a stitch marker in the very first and the very last stitch of each row that will help in keeping your edges straight. Sometimes it is difficult to see those stitches when you are beginning. Move the stitch marker up as you work; once you feel comfortable with this procedure you can remove the markers. Good luck.
@@minyukine1589 hi there ..I’m talking about stitch..i know the foundation chain row is as long as the size in inches of the desired size of the blanket but the total chains is it multiple of 4? Or multiple of 4 plus 2? Thank you so much for replying I really want to make this beautiful and very easy blanket 💕👍🏼
@@marywheelerauntiememe601 hi Mary that is what I’m trying to find out I don’t know what the stitch multiple is I think is 4+2 but not sure,I don’t think she specified the multiple stitch count..but is a beautiful stitch 😍
I like the flexibility and texture of the blanket with the 6mm hook I used. The stitches are not too tight, just the right amount of tension. Would have tried a 5.5mm hook but don't have that hook size.
I didn't want the stitch to be too tight especially after testing with other hook sizes and this particular locally made yarn in Nigeria doesn't really slide well on the hook.
Thankful for the method to make a baby blanket.
Thank you for the tutorial. It was easy to follow.
Very pretty stitch. I’m a beginner and this looks easy enough.
Hmmm... Maybe I just might take on crocheting. Thank you for this.

Well done. Make sure your camera captures your work. I enjoyed watching you ❤️

So sorry about that, will ensure future projects have a better close up view🙏🏾
Thanks for the tutorial but please how many yarn pack is needed to make 1 blanket?
Easy stitch with a gorgeous result! Subbed and good luck with your. channel!

Am awaiting more tutorials pls make the next one on baby shoe and beanie 🤩
Definitely....will be work on it 😊

Thank you Cisca Stitches!!💯💕

Imported yarn comes in sizes and they are always stated on the product label from what I have seen. Our Nigerian yarn doesn't.
@@crochetwithcisca209 thank you.

I think if you follow the pattern exactly you should get it😊. I am from Nigeria.

Very beautiful blanket and I want to make it but is the stitch multiple of 4?
Thank you! Are you referring to the foundational stitch? Or the stitch pattern?
@@crochetwithcisca209 i think its the foundation stitch

Lovely pattern. That hook looks a nightmare to work with.
Ik zou toch maar eens een clover haaknaald kopen, dit is niks, een clover haaknaald glijd beter
The blanket would be made better with a smaller hook.

I think your hook is too big, you seem to be struggling
I didn't want the stitch to be too tight especially after testing with other hook sizes and this particular locally made yarn in Nigeria doesn't really slide well on the hook.
So I did a small sampler and the stitch is multiple of 4 plus 1
