Hey there SAW, remember when you found that 20-year-old boy back in '86 and said to yourselves, "Hmm, let's try to get this guy signed with our studio, might as well give him a chance at a singing career of his own"? Yeah, I just want to let you know that that was the best decision of your lives. At first it's hard to believe this is the same person who sang all those hits in the 80s and 90s, but I'm glad he's making more music now, even if it's different. Better than having every song sound the same.
Not a bad effort, quite impressed with this video. This song was taken from his unreleased 2012 album "My Red Book". Which contained some really good tunes. In fact some of the tracks were incorporated onto his no. 1 album "50". I'm kind of hoping that Rick Astley will consider working with Mike Stock again on a cpl of songs after hearing the record "Smoke & Mirrors" by the Fizz, which he wrote & produced. Great stuff! He needs to do some uptempo disco pop material again which his recent album, "Beautiful Life" which was good, was sadly lacking. Btw...... has anyone ever heard the Rick Astley song - "New York Cowboy"? Absolutely Superb! I heard rumours they was gonna make a film of his life. What became of that project?
