There is an enrichener in the EFI system for cold starting.. sometimes it fouls the plugs put a dab of anti seize on the new plugs to keep them from seizing in the heads,

Thanks for the video , had the same issue didn’t go over 15mph , changed all spark plugs and issue fixed

1987 Yamaha wave jammer 500 won't go past 3 miles an hr. Do u have any idea what it could be
@Cuauhtemoc Chavez, I'm not a mechanic but based on my experiences I would check under your Waverunner (impeller). Second check your spark plugs.
