    This is actually a very good and underrated video. Way better than those dumb tricks and skills video’s. These are the things that you should practice and which make you a better player. That little jump puts your body directly in the right direction. I thank you a lot for sharing this knowledge!

    Great little wisdom here, the jump preps the fast twitch so you can get a step ahead, things like this are so second nature once you practice it enough but it makes ALL the difference in beating someone

      The fast twitch is not the most important benefit. It puts your body in a position where you can directly take a shot. If you don’t do the jump your toes are pointing outwards and your hips are open. When you do the jump your toes are pointing forward and you hips are closed which result in more stability which makes it possible to take a shot at goal.
      I have had moments this season where I received the ball from the left wing to the side of the box but when I controlled the ball I couldn’t directly kick it without taking an extra step. But after that extra step the defenders where already in front of me so I couldn’t should and had to pass the ball. After watching this I understand why I needed the extra step. I needed the extra step because I needed to close my hips and put my standing leg in the correct position to shoot. This little jump is a hack to bypass that extra step and it makes it possible to directly take a shot.

    저 진짜 항상 축구 경기 중계나 스페셜 보면 선수들은 거의 본능적으로 점프하면서 터치 잡아 놓더라고요 그래서 개인기,드리블 이런거 영상 보는게 아니라 점프하면서 잡는 장면만 배속 느리게 해서 보고 했었는데 이렇게 유튜브로 올려주신 분 처음 봤어요. 다들 퍼스트터치에 중요성에 대해 말은 해도 정작 디딤발에 관해서 말하는 분들은 없었거든요. 그래서 혼자 끙끙 앓고 어렵다 어떻게 해야 하지 하면서 경기 중에 무의식적으로 하려고 해야 하는데 실전에서 하려니 까먹고 그냥 디딤발 바닥에 붙은 채로 잡아놓고 플레이 하니 부자연스럽고 압박도 더 빨리 받고 하네요 의식하고 하려 해도 뭔가 동작이 부자연스럽고 연습만이 살길이네요

      축구는 모든 동작 직전 점프가 들어간다고 보면 돼요. 점프와 마찬가지로 뒤꿈치도 지면에서 살짝 떨어져 있어야 발목에 힘이 들어가 반응속도, 근육 탄력, 역동성이 증가합니다. 점프와 뒤꿈치와 발목의 긴장상태가 선출과 일반인의 가장 큰 차이기도 하죠.

    There is a scientific explanation for this as well in that it actually gives you more control over the first touch, with the standing/non controlling foot being in the air, there is less force being applied to the ball as you control it, it makes cushioning the ball that much easier.
    This works when jumping slightly to control a ball around knee/hip height and also why you should jump slightly when controlling with your chest also.

    We do this all the time when playing badminton. I find it also give explosiveness, when you land, it’s like landing on a spring, ready to take off again.
    I told our goal keeper about this but he didn’t want to try it because he said you don’t want to be in the air when shots are coming at you. I tried to reason with him that it gives you more responsiveness, having tried it in Badminton. He disagreed and said he should know as he was our team keeper. I didn’t say it to him, but I should have that he was a crap keeper who let in way too many goals and regularly cost us games and that he knew far less than he did…but you know, each to their own 😂.
    I wish I had this video to show him.

      두발로 살짝 점프를 뜨고 “내려오면서” 한발로 터치를 한다고 생각하시고 연습을 하시면 좋습니다. 그게 잘되면 점프 높이를 점점 낮게 가져가시면 됩니다. 화이팅하세요!
